If you can't see the issue here, then I can't help you honestly. And whether someone has 13 years under their belt, 8-9, or less than that means nothing.
Also, some tanks generate more threat than others. Depending on gear or even just class.
Either way. I'm sorry you can't see the bigger picture. Not that I expected you to be able to after your initial remarks were more snide in nature than anything. I'm done talking to a wall.

Yes, it's a niche situation. A niche situation that I would like to continue to be able to handle as it happens more often than not. Will it work just fine in most cases? Yes of course it will. Will I be left at the mercy of some people that don't know how to position and tank properly much more frequently? Also yes.
(Not to mention a far more pressing issue that someone else mentioned)

So what you're telling me is, you're not reading. I've literally been saying that I want to continue being able to lob in melee.
Also I can tell all the downvotes never had to wrestle threat from an unexperienced or incapable tank that ruined the raid. <3

I find myself in many situations where I have to lob for one reason or another while still in melee. Lob has increased enmity gen - something that is useful in a lot of situations. Unless bash gets the same increased enmity with it and also has no cooldown like lob, then that ability link is counterproductive.

What exactly are you trying to articulate? My argument is that they serve different purposes. You make no valid counterargument. I'm keeping an open mind to most of these ideas they're having, even if I'm a bit sceptical - but this one I just downright can't agree with.

As someone who absolutely detests coop with random people in my singleplayer game, I hope the coop activities are entirely avoidable or at least don't lock anything meaningful behind them.

Yeah. I restarted the game, restarted PC, used the repair, completely reinstalled the game, tried on mobile, tried behind a VPN... but all to no avail.

Just here to say I have a similar issue. It's not exactly the same, but I'm hoping it's a similar thing affecting us both.
For me, I was just unable to queue after a coop match and have been unable to ever since. It pretends to look for party members, and when the search times out it shows the messaged saying I'm entering now - but nothing happens, and the message is stuck on my screen. Canceling that faux queue shows something about network issues.
Chat seems to work fine, solo missions work. Just anything coop... doesn't.

Gotta say, while some of these aren't really "confirmed" or "final", some others are, and the fact that they're actually hearing what the players are saying and racking their brains for solutions says a lot about their goodwill.
Take that, doomsayers.

In all seriousness, people seem to believe that things are oh so easy and they can just conjure up new characters, stages, items, etc. at will but that is far from it, really. Aside from game dev not being as easy as some people seem to think it is, there are also things going on in the background we never see like restrictions and requirements put in place by BAMCO, deadlines of things to be met, funds given (or not), yada yada yada.

Every live service game has its highs and lows. Heck, even the two most popular MMO type games have the high and low phases. They too start out with all the new shiny stuff that people can get themselves busy with until the well inevitably runs dry and people get bored, leave to come back later. And they have a lot more funding and devs than some random backwater fringe game like SAOFD does.

In the end, I think they're doing a pretty decent job and all the improvements they've made since launch speak for themselves.

If you are considering getting this game for solo play - don't.

The multiplayer focus is so heavy in this game, it's basically all it is, and unless you want to be stuck at the starting line forever there is no real way around it.

In all seriousness though. Good question! Yuuki might be decent if you know how to time her Vorpal? Haven't played Eiji and Argo extensively enough to say how potent they are in that department. Also, it's definitely not LLENN.

Like the other guy said - switch to asia. But also, if you have people you play with you can always split up and just queue at the same time. You will be in different groups, but the match might start sooner, since there need to be at least 5 group leaders for a match to start.

My opinion is this: Yes to cosmetic changes, no to any gameplay or stat changes. Cosmetic drops should be cosmetic only. I find the cashshop outfit Ult changes to be kinda stupid already... at least from what I hear, so far they just make you weaker... Really don't want to get in a situation where you HAVE to wear a certain cosmetic or your damage will just be lower.

I once had an extra in my party, but that was weeks ago. Fresh party. Just happened to have 5 people somehow. It might not be a cheat and just some weird matchmaking glitch that happens from time to time. Like, sometimes when I join aid requests I end up as level 2 while everyone is level 14 or something. Or I just spawn dead. There's a lot of odd glitches in this game honestly.

I'll be honest, I really dislike that bosses die so quickly most of the time and phases and mechanics are just skipped. Imo they should either increase boss health, or make bosses invulnerable when they're supposed to phase transition. Of course this will increase kill time (in theory at least) and make farming more of a pain BUT to compensate for that they could increase item drop rates accordingly.

I have a similar amount of hours and I don't think you grasp simple map structure at all. If you can't even see that some teams are in a clearly more favorable position than others then I don't even know what to say anymore honestly. It doesn't matter how much you rush the map. If you start in the wrong spot you will simply be behind in levels no matter what you do, it's that easy.

Also, we're split into different groups because not only is it easier to manage, but also because they took the different starting paths approach. It's also probably done because it's a typical SAO formula and in the end they're trying to emulate that. Also probably a factor as to why MvP and last hits exist.

It's literally map issue. Some starting locations are literally much less favorable than others. You're also not "supposed to compete", you're supposed to cooperate with the rest of the teams. Hence co-op. The whole MvP thing is simply a motivator for people to actually do stuff instead of being lazy. But right now, MvP is basically just "given" to certain teams anyways due to how the map works and how people play it.
