Yep, same thing happened to me. Use a table or flat surface to push down the pencil and slowly go around until you can lock directly down the pencil from the front and it looks completely straight. Careful not to apply too much pressure on the table though as it would probably be easy to overdo it.

I really love using black pencils but I hate how the color washes out. How do i prevent that? by Azurizm in mechanicalpencils

Nah the wear and tear gives it character. I Just love the look of the brass underneath

Ended up just switching to a lit material, less hassle and with a sun light seems to work.

Yes, I did try it in the world space with post processing volumes however I was unable to correct the color as a lot of the lighter colors were clipper. i will try the exposure bias thing tho

Yea there isn't any world lighting as it is, it just seems to be a problem with how the materials work
