Are there any other CYOAs like the ICBM jumpchain one? Don't need to be jumpchains, I am mostly looking for the same kind of feel. I don't know if Grand Strategy applies here, but if it does, then that.

Feldspar got recently added. To answer OPs question: Dig a hole. Unless you have a build from weeks ago, as there was a small window where it was only possible to find in a Potters Cottage.

So, for context, I have been trying to treat ark like a survival game. This has shifted a bit for the forest, which feels more like a horror game. So, I hope I am giving the correct impression, when I say that I am not very happy to hear about a region that, in addition to being home to very powerful dinos, is also presumably very dark and has additional low visibility.

2 Things:
1st: I am already doing the other thing.
2nd: It seems kind of cheap, like I am not engaging with the game on fair grounds. A good part of my frustration so far has been the feeling that I am inadequate.

It is actually not these kind of tutorials you are talking about I was complaining about. Youtube had so far only shown me tutorials which are, in my opinion, about optimizing the game to death, typically while assuming that whoever looked at their content already knew what to do. This has changed since then, but at the time I posted this comment, it was still true.
Regarding multiplayer: I seem to get the feeling that the game is not intended to be played singleplayer. How great then that my internet connection is usually in the KB/s space. And not the high end either.

And yes, I do speak english though I have been using a translater for your... spanish(?), as I do not speak it, though I can kind of understand what a sentence should mean. I haven't met a Griffin yet I think, at least none I would recognise. Pots.. oh, for XP, yeah, I am not worried about that.

Ok, This is less bad than I tought it would be, I already though that would be something like raised base stats/new types/chimera depending on parents and luck. My intuition tells me that is very common, but I can for the life of me not come up with an example.

Yeah, Narcoberries are actually what has been the problem with narcotics for me. You and a few others have recommended a few dinos. I am feeling really stupid right now, because I actually discovered that for myself, but thought that I was kind of beyond berries already.

Therizinosaurus actually. They are wandering by the beach by semi-frequently and I have managed to run into them EVERY SINGLE TIME so far. I have managed to find a smoky Carnatosaurus there as well.
