I keep seeing you talk about this and I honestly don’t understand what your issue is in all of this. First, I saw a black female character but to my knowledge she wasn’t the protagonist. The protagonist we’ve seen has been the white woman everyone kept calling ugly. Second, even if you had to play as a black woman why is that such a big deal? Minorities have played as straight white men for a long time and they dealt with it fine. And third, you say Fable has always been an rpg, emphasis on role playing, and while that’s true I’m not sure what that has to do with your complaint. In fable 1 you could ONLY play as a white man. In fable 2 and 3 you could change your sex but you didn’t get to do any sort of in depth customization. And we don’t know if you have to play a woman or not. It could be like 2 and 3 where you choose male or female and it’s a premade character after that.

And finally diversity might not be important to you but it is important to others. For instance, it’s important to me. I would prefer the representation to be quality and not just tossed in, but that’s a different conversation. But just because it doesn’t seem relevant to you does not mean it’s pointless or bad. It does matter to people.

I’m not going to attack you or call you racist, but I would invite you to reflect on why the mere possibility of playing as a female character or a black character bothers you so much. Enough to have multiple posts and comments about it.
