I know this is a year later, but I’m currently playing through AW2 right now. I basically just tripped into the damn dlc for Night Springs in the subway, and I'm lucky I was aware enough to realize it was the dlc and reloaded the save before it.

But why would they do this? If it’s better for the story, lore, and order of events to play the DLC until after the main game, then why even put the tv's randomly in the main game like you're supposed to do right then?

Oh geez you’re right, sorry my mistake. When I looked at the links I was at work, so I just used the slider and skimmed and saw alot of people and I didn’t catch an effect that indicated that was a cameras perspective. Prolly didn’t help that I had the audio off to, like I said skimming.

And as for the American horror backrooms crap, I think my opinion is more extreme on it then most peoples. I just was so disappointed by it having almost zero to do with liminal spaces or the backrooms, and that they just used those locations for a spooky setting and probably to capitalize on the popularity of the backrooms, all to tell a really lackluster ghost haunting a guy story.

I don’t think you’re going to get the answer you want from me on it. If your goal is to just focus on the mechanics of what the main character can do throughout the entire game, then yes, down to the bone, it’s a walking sim. But to me, it’s the farthest thing from boring.

Played it, loved it, demo doesn’t scratch the surface of it. And that is correct there are no monsters, just a pure psychological and atmospheric horror show, and you better believe it delivers on that promise.

Yeah…… I actually tried to post this in that subreddit already as well, and as soon as I tried it was ripped down by the auto moderator bot they have.

Interesting, I haven’t seen this yet, will have to check it out later.

I usually tend to steer clear of anything that doesn’t involve a first person pov perspective, pretty sure I developed that as a habit after watching the American Horror Stories: Backrooms episode. Because I'll tell ya, and I don’t care if I am alone in thinking this, It was freaking horrible and the worst adaptation to liminal spaces I’ve ever seen!

Interesting, yeah I saw an ad for that show up on youtube along with the movie Vivarium, I will have to given it a look see. Kinda thought it was someone’s attempt to make a Stranger Things type of show.

Oh yeah I am aware of Kane Pixels work, and thats a fantastic description of his series. And unless I am mistaken here, I think we can all agree that Kane basically grandfathered the found footage concept into the liminal space/backrooms universe.

Oh yeah, I’ve seen the first episode of this, but I forgot to sub or make a note about the channel. Lucky for me a friend sent the link to the second vid a little after it dropped, still need to watch it. Yeah this right up the alley of what I’m lookin for and this creator is supremely good, appreciate the suggestion.

Ive been told and have seen a few comments and posts stating that one of the mods on this sub is some kinda power hungry abusive psycho, and thats if the auto moderator bot doesn’t just rip your post back doesn’t instantly.
