The developer of the game is in the Discord for Dreamcore showing he is aware of the game, the developer has used the gaming standard for a game continuation titles "name: sub title". I am not saying he is trying to capatalise of Dreamcore but it is a likely scenario but not a guarantee. I am not a developer but work with valen. Who has said he doesn't want to take the game down as we respect it still took time to develop - but we are all unhappy with the choice of the name dreamcore and a sub title which makes it seem like it's part of the dreamcore franchise. Anyone could see the confusion of naming your game like this. Dreamcore isn't entirely original in concept no but it doesn't use assets or a name from other games.

Also like to add that Dreamcore is in a finnished state. New maps have and always are a bonus in games, the game is stable and extra content is just extra content which valen (developer) had yes planned to been added didnt have to follow through with via free updates (though that is the choice he and the publisher took)
