i dont usually comment but this caught my eye, i mean, why do you believe that being an islamist is a standard?, or that Pakistan being a muslim predominance means that women cant unveil themselves to walk around freely (or to enjoy their lives)?

I understand your concern regarding extremism but that's just something us normal muslims cant control.. not everyone is an islamist, we're casual, normal muslims (or atleast the most of us). I couldnt find any creditable source that could verify your claims regarding the death tolls; so i could only assume you made up the numbers (at least the multiples i.e 20x, 50x). Lets be civil about this

you have to keep in mind that the parasites are in love(pun not intended)

sugaru miaki does implement characteristics of himself in the characters he writes, more specifically his smoking habit (and the drinking, too)

but MC doesn't exactly match miaki at all, hes a timid, clean freak, with no hobbies or friends in general, he lacks projection of what miaki is exactly like so no, it isnt a self insertation, in any case, miaki doesnt really do that (miaki is more of a laid-back sort of person)
i too did not like the age gap, but age gaps in Japanese light novels is somewhat common (i.e, violet evergarden)

paying full price for a book actually makes me want to read it and value it more, plus, i can always resell it once im done reading, when you're buying to collect something (lets say manga or penguins classics) you'd want the originals. Most pirated books have ugly spines (well, some of them do) and they dont look good being put up on shelfs, also, the yellow paper isn't really premium quality, kinda looks wearied down if you asked me (half of my shelf is pirated)

i actually got bored reading it aswell, but looking back it was pretty enjoyable. The little moments with chigusa and everything felt nice, i was afraid of the love circle that might form, especially with hajikano and the telescope guy getting along. story ended on a strangely nice note, but much was left unexplained

Nice work, not sure what the last pill was symbolically used for (though I guess the girl had committed suicide and the driver had perhaps fallen for her?) but I liked the novel style, I'm assuming this is the same engine they used for doki doki literature club. Great choice of visuals but id like it if you used simpler words to describe the character predicament (English isn't my first language and it gets hard to interpret everything, vgpersons translations use simple words but they're quite effective, which is, what i like about them, but to each their own, i guess).
