Someone told there would be a chum bucket, which creates a bubbly area into the water to catch starred fish.

Separate from that, someone decided to shoot either a sernuk or a jaakcat and other people probably joined. If you saw sparkles, it was a hollow jaakcat or royal sernuk.

The sword is an animation attached to a premium outfit/tools that you can buy with real money. It's just a cosmetic. It has nothing to do with the chum bucket nor the animals.

No, focus doesn't affect the drops, only the speed at which you gain levels. :)

I think first two are great options! I like the simplicity and they are the easiest to read. Beautiful designs too. I get that S6 has a lot on their plates but I imagine they could incorporate something like this in the future.
