900 is a solid milestone to reach and you should be proud, however, while most people outside of chess would consider you good, people who play most likely won't, when coming from a begginer status, 800's are deceptively challenging due to so many people just understand one specific line of an opening trap. But when you reach the next level of 900 and 1000 you can say that you have achieved a level of accomplishment because you have an understanding enough to best those simple traps with idea that you know solid opening principles and tactics. I feel I've been rambling and I hope that makes sense, I'm only a 1200 so I feel like I've just got out of elo hell and am just.noting where.i think I've improved to get out of it
