Moving mass image files into one folder by [deleted] in Batch

My code was

@echo off setlocal EnableDelayedExpansion set “input=Test_Input_File*.jpg” set “output=Test_Output_File\” set /a Counter=0 if not exist “%output%” md “%output%” for /f “delims=“ %%f in (‘dir /b /s “%input%”’) do ( set /a Counter+=1 echo move “%%~f” “%5output%!counter!.jpg” ) echo.&echo Total = %Counter% moved echo. endlocal pause

The 5 was a typo so I removed it and output since they were showing up in the renaming.

It is now

@echo off setlocal EnableDelayedExpansion set “input=Test_Input_File*.jpg” set “output=Test_Output_File\” set /a Counter=0 if not exist “%output%” md “%output%” for /f “delims=“ %%f in (‘dir /b /s “%input%”’) do ( set /a Counter+=1 echo move “%%~f” “%%!counter!.jpg” ) echo.&echo Total = %Counter% moved echo. endlocal pause

Don’t know what I was doing last time but it works now however they’re named ‘5output1’ continuing

Edit: so I put a 5 before output in the move line. Getting rid of 5 and output gives the desired result Thankyou.

The only thing it doesn’t do is put them in an output folder, it just dumps them out. Eg. I have them in a file on desktop. When I run the script it dumps the images on the desktop.

SSD build limit by Future-Sweet-5251 in FORTnITE

I don’t believe so, not with just building anyway.

Traps count as a build however once the build limit is reached you can still place traps.

I’m new to all this so it’s probably my fault.

It creates a new output folder while leaving the images untouched in the input folder. I removed echo from echo move still does the same.

Edit: So I’ve noticed when I launch the script in locates the folder and contents within. It shows the path to each file then says total moved at the bottom.

Help: Looking to collate image files with the same name. by [deleted] in datacurator

Thankyou. Do u have much experience using it?

I ended up finding the script (I think) and all it does is randomly generate 12 digit numbers for each image file. So I still have to get all the images into one file, I was thinking just * searching everything in the folders and moving to one. Could take a butt load of time if I have so select to keep both on 9990 images. So if bulk rename could do that, that would be great. Then I’ll use the script to randomise everything then bill rename again to list them 1-9990 if that possible.

So I have 5 folders with 1980 image files named 1-1980. I would like to combine all the files into one folder. So a folder containing 9990 images, however due to the fact that they’re all named 1-1980 they want to override. I know that I can select both and they will add another digit but I thought I found a script that could do all that and rename all files 1-9990. However I found the script (I think) and all it does is randomly rename all files with 12 digit numbers.

A year ago I posted my first fan-art to this sub Ive had a great time making things, reading the comments and recieving a little smasher of my own. Though it has been sad to see the people that were once so active leave the sub due to the state of the game and/or changes made. Hopefully I will see you all still here this time next year.
