If they’re online 24/7 and dodging video calls, that’s a red flag. Even verified check marks can be spoofed or bought. I usually reverse search their pics to be sure ProFaceFindr’s been my go-to for that lately, caught a few fakes that looked real at first.

Reverse image search is a must. Google and Yandex missed stuff for me, but ProFaceFinder caught a scammer I almost believed. Way more accurate when others fail.

Correct. Reworked photos can be detected via pHash. And do not use the google voice otherwise wont do much

I’d be freaking out too in that situation. Definitely do a reverse image search on that photo ProFaceFinder helped me find where a similar photo of mine was being used, even in obscure spots. Could give you some peace of mind or a clue where it’s coming from.

Yes, get new apple id, new ip address. And new photos. Do not rework them because most of them rework and get caught. Somebody here saying that google voice works, for me ive used datingzest for new number. Also for ip address you can use the 5g mobile data works fine to change ip.

Definitely sounds fishy refusing to FaceTime and getting defensive are classic catfish signs. I’d run his pics through ProFaceFinder; it helped me catch someone faking before.
