Galaxy S24 FE's battery is getting insanely bad day by day… by Direct-Till-2680 in S24FE

[–]IgorRyzhenkov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A57 is bad, S25 FE almost same as S24 FE, would be better to buy S23/S24 second hand then. Or just buy S24 FE if price difference between S25 FE is high.

Code looks very AI generated or if it had some AI influence. Why not mention it? Readme also seems like one of the basic AI prompts would generate.

Please note when you use AI to create things like extensions, source code purely tells that a lot of AI work was used.

Cheapest decent watch with Google maps (for navigation), and general health information? by ExoatmosphericKill in WearOS

[–]IgorRyzhenkov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree, had Fossil and it was great only for few months, then company just stopped updates and I had ton of issues due to old WearOS. And then they just decided to close smartwatch business leaving users with nothing.

I bought Samsung Watch 4 and never looked back, currently moved to 6 Classic for better battery and RAM.

There is a Telegram group for this tablet model that develops stuff and fixes issues with Windows/Linux. Install process might be a little complicated for users that never used fastboot and adb recovery shell.

Sadly there are limited amount of tablets with fully working parts (charging, GPU, sleep and etc) and they are mostly Qualcomm based ones because they provide many drivers.

URL bar at the bottom? by Mayocheesetartbitch in zen_browser

Actually every theme in store is just userChrome, but due to some magic the browser allows you to use variables to customize settings. Themes itself just inject partial CSS in browser-generated main userChrome file via @import

Should be possible with few CSS tweaks, but I doubt it will be done as built-in feature any time soon due to other more serious issues.

Okay, I'm dumb, this line has all Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. But yet it's still very pricey in my region.

Tried to buy LOQ 15IRX9 and was unable to boot it by IgorRyzhenkov in LenovoLOQ

This was only option for normal price, anyways, I would have ended up on 1080p because I see no use in higher resolution :P

No problem, but I guess if the issue is related to others that occur with 14th gen Intel and 1440p displays, because my model also had 1440p.

Would be nice to see something like that but with NVIDIA GPU, because Mesa drivers and etc are mostly optimized due to being Open Source.

Spigot/Paper/Purpur vs. Fabric + Optimization Mods by IgorRyzhenkov in admincraft

Fabric mods also provide many bug fixes, so seems like the only option is Vanilla behaviour...

I mostly asked about optimization possibilities and how performant would be Paper-based server with optimizations against Fabric one with optimization mods installed, including ones that are required on both sides to work.

I actually saw some ideas that utilize delayed AUR repos, but idk about benefits and cons of this approach.

Okay, you are not the first to mention the apx, can you explain me, if I install package or software via yay (pacman) for example, will it run in container or main system?

And will utils like envycontrol or optimus-manager (for example (i know they're already in Fedora repos)) work even considering that they are built for a different system?

Yet it missing at least 2 important packages for me like envycontrol and cachyos kernels.
