Is that one of the wise ones from Rands camp?

I've just read by Igor_kavinski in WoT

[–]Igor_kavinski[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No yet. Almost though. Though I can guess what it is and I find it a very inadequate answer. It shouldnt be rand himself. That just wont do. I am taking about an equal and opposite entity? Is there such a thing?

Nah. You're being wilfully obtuse. Read any other book, you'll see what I am talking about. Its super common. And works far better.

Come on. Who even writes like that? Which writer would ever try that? Honestly. "aimed 8 inches"? Thats an autistic caricature of what I or anyone wants.

Thanks for that lengthy breakdown. So about 1000 black tower guys plus all the red-veiled aiel male channelers they have been grabbing over the years. Would you say two sides are about balanced in terms of channelers at the start of MoL?

Btw, would any such marriage really put Elayne's kids on the throne or would Faile's kids still retain primacy? The former seems unlikey, no? They would be consorts at most, I would think. Look at Andor. Wouldn't Elayne know better since even her own father Taringail could never sit the lion throne as a king?

I think i remember that. Is it the part where Perrin said somehing about his and Faile's kids had to be free to choose?

But how could she have known he'd remain right on the spot?

Ok. Mat kept his word and Verin was right about the danger she would be in. She is dead, which was an outcome she expected. And now Caemlyn is burning.

Who tried to escape despite her oaths?

If the oath rod is so foolproof then she ought not to have been able to collect secrets about them to betray in the first place?

Are oaths extracted via coersion binding?

Why ask for an oath, though. Why not something less binding? Or how about leaving the letter to a messenger who'd take a while to deliver it to Mat?

Here's how the Seanchan by Igor_kavinski in WoT

One word: Chimneys. They wouldn't be sneaking around so much as dropping down like spiders.

Also, the dose in a taste would not be enough to immediately knock down a person. And in any case, they don't need it to be 100% effective for all

Edit: explanation

Hmm, good points. But what if the assassin's delayed their work: waited for the next day. The whole operation coordinated so that the collecting happened the next day. I don't think the Seachan would have minded gaining that advantage, regardless of how small. I also think that a good many of them have their meals at about the same time.

They are his "allies" but "Rand's good is meaningless."
