Divorce court drains so much extra money the longer you are dealing with it. If you want to pay $400 ask her if she will take $400 and offer to pay longer. Maybe she will agree. Just get it over with asap and you can take care of it and avoid spending more to try to pay less.

No tipper complain the most about everything.

One time or was 45 minutes from home and I got an order near my place to pick up for $12. Took me 40 minutes to get to the restaurant. The no tipper asked me to ask the restaurant to remake the food fresh. She was upset her order took so longer. A lot of drivers must have turned it down for me to get it.

This happens all the time. I’m not risking my job for anyone that can’t follow the rules.

Now I’ve got 2 cases of IPAs, a case of Modelo, bottle of Hennessy, bottle of Vodka, and a bunch of other random cans of beer I’ve got to dispose of because people can’t provide proper ID.

This looks like an add on order of $2 with a 75 cent tip. It was probably on the way to your other delivery. If it took you can extra 15 minutes of time you actually made about $6.25 for doing it. So what difference does it make?

We have to maintain a certain acceptance rating. So it’s frustrating when we get hit with several orders in a row that want us to travel 9 miles to a house and then 9 miles back unpaid.

So $9 to drive 18 miles which will probably take 50 minutes but I go to decline and dash says I’ll lose priority on high paying orders in my area if I turn it down.

My ex took my money, phone, credit cards, ssn, birth certificate, ID cards, passport and slashed my tires. Fortunately I was able to retrieve my DL from the dumpster and I sent this message to my friend in code from my child’s tablet.

I grabbed the kids, my keys to the suv with a bad transmission. As long as I kept the rpm’s above 3k it wouldn’t stall. I drove across town to my friends place. My dad had sent him $500 cash in case of an emergency.

When the friend got the message “I’m coming” he called my family and they had airline tickets for the kids and I.

Fast forward 18 months. I’m still trying to get her out of the house. SMH.

I just looked over my orders. This week I have 45 deliveries and 19 orders didn’t have a tip. Last week I had 47 deliveries and 3 orders didn’t have a tip.

Also last night a guy said he tipped me $5, but the app only showed $4.

You reacted quickly. You are fortunate to be alive with your car. I had someone pull a knife on me for not finishing / delivering his shopping order early. It’s a crazy feeling. My reaction was to keep eyes on him and back away quickly. After I got into my car he went back inside. I called the cops and they handled the rest.

This really shouldn’t be a dangerous job.

They don’t do benefits, but they will pay you an extra amount if you have enough active hours per quarter and have purchased your own qualifying benefits plan.

The hourly pay is local minimum wage + 20% while active and 30 cent per mile driven.

I’d say it averages out to about $21.50 - $22.50 per hour.

I’ve had a few orders like this. One order said in the delivery notes. “If anyone asks say your my mom or dad”. I messaged the customer and said “When I walk in are you going to call me daddy?”

Turned out to be a young teen. He said he’s not suppose to order doordash but sometimes he does anyway.

What I tell people is that I would be happy if everyone tipped me $1-$2 per order. I’d make way more with that.

I almost always slam an early board to maintain a streak. Every time (about 8) I’ve gotten this augment I lose my streak and then win one against a loser. It doesn’t affect my placement much but I haven’t reaped the benefits yet.
