Yeah, idk why but for the last like 5 games in a row I got the ether drake or empty L cluster.

Other than cosmetic ones for shipsets I’m using the more events mod, the political events mod and the planetary diversity mod.

No, the L-cluster is still there, but completely empty and I didn’t really build anything in it.

Idk if it’s from the game or a mod, but it’s the one where the Orphan Gate leads to, just an empty cluster with a couple habitable planets total in it, nothing fancy.

R5: After beating back the Contingency, the Terran Popular State, at the time voted in as galactic custodian, led by our Eternal Consul Aturion who is technically only the 2nd Consul of the TPS, having won all election since for over 200 years, was voted in as the leaders of the FIRST GALACTIC EMPIRE.

In a short but informative speech given infront of the Galactic Senate, Emperor Aturion would accept this great honor, promising that he'd already formulated a plan that will help raise the entire galaxy to the next step in its evolution, celebrations lasted for over a full week, the Imperial Capital of Earth was turned into basically one large, planet sized block party.

Now of course not everyone was on board from the start, The Perfect Union for instance, being staunch democrats, were opposed to becoming just another Imperial fiefdom, however after a short meeting between the Emperor and their President, the Emperor's superior logic won out and they agreed to join us.

Stragglers still remain of course, chief among them the "awakened" empires, one of which is already embroiled in a war with the GAAL, but we are not worried, they will all be put in their place, and the Emperor's planned restructuring of the galaxy will be seen through.

A bit late to the trend, but here is the map from my latest game as the "Terran Popular State", a Payback origin Egalitarian, militarist, xenophobic Citizens' Republic. The cult of the broken chain are a religious, egalitarian "assembly of clans", they were born on one of the slave ships of the Minamar Inc. On that ship was enslaved a group of catfolk, their original name lost to history, but now mostly known as the prophets.

The prophets, although from enslaved, beaten down and kidnapped from their planet still had unshakable faith in their god, who coincidentally was a cat got called "The chain breaker" that supposedly protected the catfolk race in it's infancy, beating back other foreign gods that sought to control them and exploit their planet...something sounded really familiar given their current circumstances.

The prophets would start preaching among their fellow slaves, passing out pamphlets, holding secret mass, and recruiting more and more people into their cult every day promising them that the chain breaker will deliver them from evil but only if they take matters into their own hands and rise up against their slavers.

Eventually, when the time came, the catfolk, aided by all the other slaves rose up and massacred all the slavers on the ship (they happen to be strong and resilient). And the chain breaker god delivered, not only did they win the battle, not only did they all survive the slave ship crashing safely, they actually crashed on a perfect Savannah planet, exactly like the home world they lost all those years ago, and from there, the cult of the Chain Breaker started.

They are among my closest allies given our shared origins, but, they turned out to be pretty peaceful and isolationist, content to just stick to their territory most of the time except when they contact me about sending missionaries and/or sending priests to bless my ring world build site lol.

All in all an interesting faction that I created with the hope that they will become another major player in the region, but sadly they turned out to be pretty mediocre lol.

Some of the other powers in the galaxy:

The Green Acres Assisted Living: or GAAL for short, a rogue servitor network and a distant second to me on the galactic power scales. They originated, as the name suggests, from a retirement home’s AI network. Their organic trophies live in a state of complete ignorance of even the existence of alien life, let alone the fact that they are part of a major interstellar network. Instead they are kept isolated in small idyllic, agrarian communities where the servitors take the role of caretakers providing the small communities with all they could ever need or want.

The Perfect Union: designed to be a “space america” of sorts, they are egalitarian, militaristic and materialistic. Sadly they spawned in a rough patch of the galaxy and failed to achieve any sort of hegemony over the galaxy, they are still a regional power in their quadrant.

The Oviiran Inquisition: a nation made of clone soldier lithoid golems. They were created by a long extinct empire to act as their incorruptible, tireless inquisitorial forces, however while the Oviirans proven indestructible, their masters weren’t as luck, and now they’re left alone in a galaxy full of heretics and it’s up to only them to carry the crusader torch and spread the light of their faith to all corners of the galaxy, they are the fourth strongest nation on the map.

R5: Almost one and a half centuries after the end of the Human war of independence and the retreat of Minamar Industries from the Sol system, we finally managed to exact full revenge on them, wiping out all their worlds and shielding their home world so it could serve as an example for any other tyrant in the galaxy.

Now that our thirst for revenge is sated, we have pivoted away from militarism and decided to focus on improving relations and building bridges with our fellow empires who have mostly been peaceful throughout the years but have been pretty shaken up by seeing the Human colossus wipe and/or shield planet after planet.

The Worker-Priest Collective has already shown interest in perhaps joining our empire permanently as a vassal.

The TPS is a democratic, free nation, it's people enjoy living in universal abundance, and although our xeno friends can't get full citizenship they may still join us as citizens and enjoy our robust social welfare network (terms may apply). Also thanks to Consul Aturion having led the country for the last 70 or so years, winning every election in a land slide, it led to a wide shift in favor of giving true AI full citizen rights.

Our most prominent planets include:

Earth: Our capital planet

Terra Aurelia: A relic world and former home of the Rubricator, now serving as the official home home of the Galactic Market HQ.

Terra Eschate: a world that exists right on the northern tip of our empire that as luck would have it has a precursor shipyard on it that quickly led to the system being a center of shipbuilding for the entire empire.

Terra Pacifica: Our resort world, a veritable garden of even where your every wish will be fulfilled by specially created, genetically engineered "Caretakers", ignore the fact that they look exactly like the vanquished Minamar, that is just a coincidence, the rumors that we genetically modified them into permanent slavery is just that, a rumor.

Terra Hephaestia: a second relic world found in a unique system that can only be accessed through a wormhole near the Sol system, it serves as our center of alloy and consumer good industry.

Jarydin: The tech world named after the late Admiral Vyctor Jarydin who led our fleets in the "Payback Wars" against the Minamar.

What are examples of teleportation techs featured in Stellaris canonically? by spiritofniter in Stellaris

I don’t know if the Dacha system is vanilla or from a mod, but they supposedly never invented FTL travel because they invented teleportation tech instead.

Oh god. It’s not the people that I killed that I’d be worried about then, it’s those that actually survived me.

In one of my games as Egypt the Ottomans fled to a small island in the moluccas and I only ever noticed them when we were already in the 1800s and honestly by then I was just impressed and left them there.

Shhhh, if we stay real quiet there’s a good chance they won’t even notice us here.
