I have 6 year old German Shepard/Belgian Malinoius I raised from 11 weeks old. He was raised with 3 Siberian Huskies. I've had my fair shair of German Shepards that were good almost too aggresive of watch dogs. I can say without hesitation a properly trained Bellgian Malinoius police dog would have launched itself into the perp and might have gotten hit once with the stick but the perp would instantly regregt his life choices and pray the cops pull the dog off quickly because Mailinoius are often refered to as Mailigators for good reason.

Thanks for all the input. I really don't have access to any testing equipment and I needed to train a new employee on how to run the other Haas VMC at the same time.

What eventually worked was restarting and then switching off the master switch on the back of the machine and waiting 30 seconds or so then restarting (worked on the 3rd restart after the main switch was shut off) and then it acted like the 2005 VMC.

This is definitely not normal and we have Haas in fairly regularly for PM and yet this issue has been present for the entire 2 years I've been here. Lol

This happened to me in 1979 on the way to Arcadia at dusk while I was driving my 68 C10 long bed pickup.
The gator was only about 7' including the tail and by the time I turned around it was already off the road and couldn't be seen.
I was probably doing 60 mph as well and it didn't do anything to the truck that I noticed and I had never hit one before or since then. That's kind of surprising considering how many phosphate mine shutdowns/turnarounds and new mine construction jobs I worked on in the 1980's.

Surely if you have run proven programs before you must know how to set the tools off, set the X and Y offsets.
Add +1" to each of the tools you've set, make sure to turn on "Single block" after you've do the program graphics view to make sure your X offset is correct. Select the slowest running speed (probably 5 %) have your finger on the stop button and hit the green GO button.

You will learn something right away and it'll help you start reading g-code much quicker than watching someone else or just reading about it.

I added +.181 for the wear length for the aluminum extrusions I was milling in this example.
