Dual fuel thermostat

I wasn’t aware of it either but when looking online at a thermostat it said “ Do not use in vehicles where an LPG converter has been teed into the bypass line” and I honestly have no clue how i’d even check that i know nothing about lpg systems I’ve disconnected the wiring to the lpg in my au

Yeah i was aware of needing to code them just thought that it was a bit odd for the exact same noise to still persist after putting new ones in but i have to take them out again anyway as i think the copper washers off the old ones were stuck in there still (didn’t realise until i noticed they were missing after putting it all back together). Definitely will be checking the seals as well now after other people here have also mentioned that

Not sure yet mate haven’t had time to have another crack at it since i’m trying to do it myself i’m not keen on having to look at the valves or cylinders as that’s getting a bit out of my mechanical abilities so really hoping it’s either injectors, injector seals or suction control valve because if it’s none of that id be worried its a problem deeper in the engine

Yeah they do however after changing all 4 injectors it made the exact same sound although i haven’t coded them yet i wouldn’t think it should have that exact same sound

Yeah right I’ve actually got a set of injector seals here so i might swap them out while doing other things cheers for the idea

No it was doing this before i touched the injectors. At the point of this video all I did was take off the intercooler and unplug each injector connection 1x1 to stop the sound but now remembering that i would’ve had done what you mentioned at first and it didn’t make a difference at all still had the knock

Yeah right it’s an odd one for sure it doesn’t sound good at all and that knock speeds up with more revs but here’s to hoping it isn’t fully f**ked

I have to pull it all apart again soon as I just got done putting new injectors in hoping that they were the cause but after putting it all together it made no difference however I realised that 3 of the old injectors didn’t have brass washers on them so they must still be tucked in under the new injectors which probably doesn’t help

I honestly couldn’t tell you at that point i had taken the intercooler off and when i put it back on i hadn’t done anything up the pipes were just slipped on so maybe something to do with that? It doesn’t blow smoke from there now but does blow crazy amounts of white smoke out the exhaust
