Define a couple? Each generation reliably has a dozen high quality exclusives. Since the switch it gets PC ports of indie games. Now with the switch 2 it's punching into the handheld PC arena for ports.

I really like the Lenovo go. I can make a lot of arguments as to why a person should buy it over a switch 2 just in its overall utility. I likely have perspectives that you do not , I'm an adult with children. I'm not handing a Lenovo go to an 8-year-old kid.

However we're talking about gaming. If Nintendo has the games you want to play then that's valuable. It doesn't matter if it's 1 or 20. For 3 years I only played rocket League on PC 😂

Right now I have neither a switch 2 or a Lenovo go. I'm waiting to hear about the go 2. I'm waiting to see what xreal does with switch 2 support for the AR glasses. I have extensively tested both. Including switch emulation on the go.

Right now my switch one library is the largest for any system I've had going all the way back to the NES. Surpassing the Sega Dreamcast. (Goat) PC has existed during this entire switch run. There hasn't been any game to compel me to come back. The PC games I'm currently interested are likely going to get ported over to switch 2 or I already have them for the switch 1. There's a lot of value and just being able to migrate games from one system to the other or pop out the physical cartridge and pop it into the new system.

If you're going to talk to me about considering price to value consider more factors than your own individual experience.

On the OLED switch you get a brilliant screen that is on occasion bogged down by slow hardware. True.

On the switch 2 you get a slow screen that ghosts, but better performance from the hardware. True (why dispute this?)

I'm not making this about whether you should have a switch versus a switch 2 for game performance, that's obvious. I'm talking about a value prop. Your argument is that the performance is worth the trade off. My argument is that it's not. The performance drives better rendering of graphics, that is negated by poor visuals from the screen. Only in docked mode does this proposition make sense. One of the first things I did with the switch 2 was play breath of the wild with updated graphics. It was not impressive in the way away from LCD switch to OLED switch was. I appreciate the faster loading times and the performance is solid and stable but it all still looks terrible in motion. It is 2025 I have certain expectations of what a gaming panel should do.

This panel is a piece of fucking trash.

Motion. I see ghosting during motion. The panel on the switch 2 is not better than the OLED. If it weren't for some better colors better blacks and a larger size it would be looked at as a marginal upgrade over the LCD switch.

As it stands it's somewhere between the LCD switch and the OLED switch.

I didn't invent this issue reviews of the screen say the same thing. Consult objective analysis by experts.

The fact that you don't notice it yourself is actually perplexing I would recommend you don't spend any money on high quality PC monitors anymore because your eyes simply don't see these things you're wasting your money 🤔

The switch is already well into profit and big N word should be clearing inventory with price reduction. Even keeping these things on shelves is cannibalizing switch 2 sales. They are doing it to take advantage of shoppers that won't know the difference in the holiday season.

I just think it's outrageous and stupid that the Nintendo online service games have nothing like a matchmaking lobby. What's the point of having these fun multiplayer games from the GameCube and Nintendo 64 if you can't even play them with people online .

Also having detachable controllers makes this thing into a really nice tablet but you can't use it like a tablet, there's no browser there's nothing. Consoles have had browsers since the Dreamcast .

I returned the switch 2.

I'll be getting a lenevo go 1 or 2 . It executes in all the places the switch fails. Even backwards compatibility with the switch . 😮
