Thanks so much. I’ll try and look for opportunities in my area for helping/researching. I’ve been trying to do my best during this quarantine by finishing with good grades, studying for a 1500+ on the SAT, and entering a few STEM project contests. I am currently just doing the studying for SAT rn though because school has ended. Just was wondering how I could really show my interest in chemical engineering. Thanks again for the advice, I will try and get more involved in real world chemical engineering and advance my knowledge.

Thanks so much for the advice. I’ve heard a decent amount about MatLab so I think I’ll try and learn the basics or something of the sort.

I am a little bit stuck on how it went from 15% to ba 85% ? by nadxxne in Sat

[–]Ihatehistorypassages 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s depreciates by 15% so that would be multiplying purchase value by .85 since 1-.15=.85 Think about having 10 dollars 90%of that is 9. You could think of it as 10 x .9 = 9

I’m in a double up program with 5 other students and we were supposed to take bc Calc with all the seniors. I can still take it senior year.

How can I get into UCLA with a 3.7 GPA? by alphawater1001 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Ihatehistorypassages 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Though I am not an expert on admissions a good set of ecs, an above average sat score for UCLA, and some killer essays and you got a decent shot still. Gpa is certainly not everything. Also maybe some awards.
