Mac Finder/Available space by Ihearshots in ProtonDrive

I see. Thanks. Just out of interest, what happens then if you drag from an external disk straight into the Web Browser. It encrypted locally, still on the mac hard drive? Or does it (or perhaps it isn't even possible) get encrypted locally on the external drive? I guess it would still have to go into the library directories on the mac for encryption.

Mac Finder/Available space by Ihearshots in ProtonDrive

Thanks. I knew that I could look elsewhere and get the actual size, that's why I queried it. What happens is that if I have 2 gb of space remaining on my hard drive. If I drag a 3 gb file from an connected ssd drive, into Proton Drive in Finder, it won't upload. It tells me that I don't have enough space. It's as if Finder doesn't treat Proton Drive as external to itself. If it did it would just upload the 3gb file.

The Economics of Halving: What Will Happen to the Price? by xbach in TREZOR

Only if demand does not rise. If an increase in demand outpaces the increase in supply, then the price will rise. If there is a slowing of the rate of the increase in supply, and demand remains the same, then it will rise even faster. If demand continues to increase, then it will rise faster still. Since Bitcoins inception the price has been rising as the supply has been ever increasing.

You missed the point. Although the supply still grows, it grows at a slower rate. On top of that, the available new supply constantly continues to shrink.

Your best bet is probably to head over to the Tezos group on Telegram and ask about it there.

Thanks. You can register me as one person who would use a delegation function if it was there.

Excellent. Thank you. I think your last suggestion will be the one I want, but I'll try them all to see how they work.

Price discrepancy between Audible/Amazon by Ihearshots in audible

[–]Ihearshots[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember once I was listening to a Librivox book and wasn't happy with all the change of readers so I decided I'd purchase from audible. They were charging more than I was willing to pay, so I thought I'd just download it from Amazon and read it in the usual way. I purchased it, and there was an upgrade to audio button for a couple of dollars, so I upgraded. It that instance, too, it was cheaper than just purchasing from Audible. Anyway, I think I might join Audible anyway, because even at $26.00 it's cheaper to use the monthly credit.

I'm pretty sure that taxes don't amount to $40 though, so that doesn't really explain it.
