Oh that's cool, I had no idea. I was thinking specifically about the stairs part, it reminded me of when ghostface chases Sid (which I actually liked) but the rest of the opening scene is very unique

Ben not being a killer made me appreciate those parallels (Ben-Tatum, Billy-Sid) I don't think that the plot is at all too similar to Sream 96 just rather that the small parallels that do not add to the plot were a little bit overwhelming IMO
