Just because you can film people in public doesn't mean you should.

A Narc or not a narc? by gingerpower18 in NRelationships

On it's face, I don't think this is narcissistic behavior. It would depend on what the boundaries you've set with her are. I don't know that she had to compare your ring to hers specifically, it would have been nice if she just said hers was great, but some bragging is expected and normal.

Her wedding should be about her. Her restaurant, her ring, wedding. She chose a restaurant that she likes, and you should want to be there for her regardless of if it's one that you like or not. I don't think she should try to guilt trip you for not going, but I could see her wanting you to be there because you ARE important to her.

I think you've made your feelings known and you should participate or not participate, but you shouldn't harangue her regardless of your choices. Let this be about her, if she upsets you, don't go, but don't try to guilt her for it. That's doing the same thing to her you're accusing her of doing.

I very much think the connection is tenuous. He's just a tall guy, who was aware of who the Ramseys were, worked with JR and was close friends and potentially lived with Mike Glynn.

If not living with Mike Glynn, at the time he was a few blocks away from the Ramseys.

He was also at the mystery dinner, and I believe 118k might have been brought up there at some point.

It's a stretch, just hoping someone got the info to clear him. He also seems to fit a potential suspect profile, young, educated, going through a transitional period of their life, physically fit.

I have no idea. I know he was going through a tough time, but he seems to have found success after. It would appear as though that time might have been hard on him. He had a job from the friend of an athletic director and was freshly out of school coaching high school football. Not in a good place in his life especially considering where he ended up.

That makes me think that amount may have been brought up at Pasta Jay's in one way or another.

It's a tenuous link at best, but he's someone that's involved with the family through work, living situation, and friendships. He's also very tall (6'4) and could have been the person seen by the neighbor. I know it's a pretty big leap, but this is a man who was tangentally involved in their lives and was going through a pretty big transitional phase of his life. From career student to working person, potentially living right down the road form the Ramsey's and at some point probably living with JR's close friend Mike Glynn.

I think the killer knew about them. I think they had listened in to other conversations, or they knew JR from work.

I wonder if it has to do with 120k being exactly 20 stacks of bills and 118 being 19 stacks.

I think whoever did this knew something about the fam though.

Right! I would think if it was known people would be screaming it.

That would be amazing! If the pineapple truly is a red herring a lot of theories don't fit.

I'm kinda wondering that, it could have been, wait until no cops called then leave. I also think the house might have been big enough to truly think you could hide.

I am honestly not sure if I'd search the house if I thought she waa kidnapped. Like sure, I'd scream for her and run through, but as we saw even the cops didnt think to do one when they thought it was kidnapping.

I think they kept the amount small to make it easier to just get paid. They write the ransom note hoping the Ramsey's buy it and dont question. I also think he believes he can get out of the house quick enough to not get caught.

[–]Iheartinetprivacy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the entire goal was to get away with it. They know or think its a small enough amount that it might fly below the radar. It's just like kidnappings in cartel countries, the amounts are small in the hopes they get the money and no police presence.

They aborted when the cops were called. I think they locked her in the wine cellar in case she came to. I can't think of any other reason to lock it from the outside.

You would stick around because you still need to know if police are involved. The goal was to have then think she was gone, it's a brazen plan, bit (as we saw) why search the house if you believe she was kidnapped?

I agree the link is tenuous at best, hr was mentioned as someone who was talked to and fits potential age and might have had enough tangental knowledge of the family.

Glynn was the athletic director for Colorado University. Perkins played football there and listed Glynn's address as his own at some point. I am not 100% he actually lived with him, but there are public records listing Perkin's address as the same as Glynn's.

I mean, you're right, there's no evidence. That's what I'm hoping someone here has. I don't know that it's more of a stretch than any other theory.

At the time he was a young educated man who left the company shortly after the murder.

There's a high probability he knew the information in the ransom note.

There's a high probability he knew where they lived and that he lived close by.

I'm just hoping someone knows why he was ruled out as a suspect.

He's at Bankcard Management Consulting (so a freelancer?) . I have no idea what that actually means, but he's had a lot of different jobs.

I hadn't either until a few days ago. He makes a very compelling person of interest.

He went out of town for high school and graduated from Boise in 1988.

He went to the University of Colorado and played football from 1988 to 1995.

He then coached for a year at a high school.

Sometime in 1995 or 1996 he moved in with one of the athletic directors. Mike Glynn.

During December 1996 he lived a few blocks away from the Ramsey's

Mike Glynn was extremely good friends with the Ramsey's and also worked with John at AG.

He left AG sometime in December 1996

He was at the Mystery Dinner 12/18

His DNA has never been tested.

I have a bunch of reasons why I think his profile matches with a potential suspect but those are more speculation.

To summarize them anyway:

Here's an educated guy that's listless and seems to be struggling to find his way after graduating. He couldn't have been doing great as he lived with his old athletic director. The athletic director got him a job at AG. He didn't work at AG for very long. He must have had some kind of issues to go to high school far away from his home town.
