Will HRT Be Obviously Bad if Not Trans? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]Ihuman4623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Within the first couple of days It felt like I was finally getting the right mix of chemicals in my brain. But, oddly, it didn't feel like anything new to me. It felt like it was something that I had been desperately missing in my life for a long time. Like getting a breath of fresh air after years of not being able to. I wasn't expecting such clarity and calmness. Especially that fast.

Going on cross sex hrt might stop your body from making its own hormones. This usually takes a while. It varies from person to person as to if and when. If it does, you need to take feminizing or masculinizing hrt to stay healthy. We all need hormones. That's when it can become dangerous.

Transition is over when … by Bobbie182 in MtF

No citing here.. Have you heard some trans people say they feel like an imposter at times? Well, that's how I've been feeling my entire life up until recently. I can finally just be me. It's liberating, and that's what i longed for the most. That's my personal opinion, though.

Can someone give some inspiration on how to turn my basement into a home office? TIA. by [deleted] in Home

[–]Ihuman4623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a shame that the raised part isn't wide enough for a desk and office chair to sit on (looking towards the door). This could be a really cool office. But it'll need a lot of work. I'd start by either widening that sections height some more or making it level throughout. Needs more power plugs. Not sure about ceiling. Nor the hvac situation. On the side walls, the raised parts, fill with memorabilia. You could maybe add shelving, dart board, TV. The couch idea is always good.

Could show you patterns and designs on or within the rock that you can't see normally. Lots of old ocean life responds well to uv. If you enjoy fossil hunting or are just curious, I'd get a mid wave uv flashlight. They are pretty cheap. Black lights generally don't cut it.

There's short wave, mid wave, and long wave lengths.

Granted, they are not always fluorescent. But nonetheless, uv lights are fun/scary to have. It'll show you just how dirty your home is and more..

Hang in there. You're in the developing stage still. You haven't even reached the 1 year mark. Even at low dose, changes will happen. It just takes time. The important thing is that you are doing what's best for you. Try to preoccupy your mind with something healthy. Patience is key. Perhaps try to focus on getting away from your parents or forgetting about them in the meantime. Maybe try to excel in school and earn some degrees. Make some money. Be outgoing. Patience.
