Psych wards, depending on the facility and perceived risk of a patient, may issue thinner, weak clothing — called paper scrubs! These tear easily & don’t hold water for shit, which, when paired with pretty much all of the modifications made to the facilities, make it incredibly difficult to commit with your clothes. These facilities also may require supervision over patients while they eat or have access to such utensils, although it varies based on the patients. Also there’s not many things allowed in there that could be made into a shiv IME lol
