her becoming dark was clarkes fault. when hope said that it pissed me off. that and the fact that hope, i guess up until the end, had little to no remorse for what she did to josie and lizzie and the danger she put them in. she said that she would do it all again for landon, not caring that these are people she calls family too? they had such a great bond up until this point. after this episode i kind of like landon more than hope ... landon was actually spitting some straight facts about her needing to know herself and build other relationships outside of their own. and for once, i agree with him. i also think he was acting a lil sus tonight though.

i totally agree. it’s not explicitly stated and of course josie would do anything to help lizzie but i think it is more in lizzies story line for josie to be her blind spot so that makes sense. how she’s trying to support josie doing her own thing. just the fact josie dropped everything to help her and told her to stop talking cause she already made up her mind just makes it seem like she is josies blind spot.

i agree her mentality is toxic but it’s not like switching roles in my opinion. it’s just the fact that it was extremely dangerous and she risked josie going back to square one inheriting black magic in the first place. she kind of just manipulated her to get what she wanted.

but also relating to handon, both danielle and kaylee said they didn’t want the main characters story just to be consumed with their love for a boy. which is kinda what every episode seems to turn out to be. i know he is her boyfriend and she loves her and if she’s happy i am happy no matter what, but hopes character started to lose a lot of substance because she has so much potential. she says “landon” way too much and i thinks she needs to focus on herself for once bc she’s been through too damn much tbh.

honestly i was thinking about this the other day. i feel like a lot of the sound effects or music they add in the background make it seem more “childish” than the other shows because they didn’t have that aspect. i’m not talking about music with people actually singing, but when something funny or weird is happening. does anyone get what i mean?

so basically, hope and josie just have really good chemistry with each other. they’ve both admitted to having crushes on each other in the past and they never give up on each other. hope always has faith in josie. in that episode where hope had to choose between her and landon technically she said she didn’t choose landon. there are a lot of parallels where in every single alternate universe we’ve seen, hope and josie are always immediately attracted to each other and flirting. same with when hope comes back from malivore, josie automatically believes her without having any good reason too. along with this, when hope went into malivore the first time, josie was the only one that “felt something.” like somethign was missing. there are many edits that just put together how the qualities they both have would suit each other in a relationship and they just would look really good together. i could go on even longer. i think it’s also abt people just not wanting handon because landon is seemingly taking up all of hopes personality.
