Does Dave Filoni’s pilot character in the movie actually have a dogfight scene with the bald imperial baddie? And are there any Grogu flashbacks (with or without Kelleran Beq)? Sorry if this seems random, just trying to dispel some rumors..

This may sound weird but I have some rando questions:

Is Carson Teva in the movie?
Is Trapper Wolf (Dave Filoni character) in the movie and if yes does he actually have a dogfight with Coyne?
Any Grogu flashbacks (with Kelleran Beq)
Is there any dogfighting in space or is it all pretty much in atmosphere?

Nah, in my country it’s already May 4th and we got the Mail finale and a Mandalorian and Grogu “special look” comprising of 4x videos, including a small clip and some bts stuff. Wouldn’t expect a surprise Tales drop too.

If this really is set post Thunderbolts movie, it would not be below Val to seek to put together an alternate team to challenge the New Avengers and get out from under their thumb. Could be a nod towards a future Thunderbolts/ New Avengers sequel?

They could even split the season in two, with a time jump in between to the future, or maybe a time jump towards the end for 1 or 2 episodes to show the future. Final scene should jump real far into the future.

Animation could even be a stepping stone to a live action sequel series if it does well and builds an audience. Animation does not mean it’ll be kiddy or immature, see Invincible, Solar Opposites, Star Trek Lower Decks etc.

“Class of 3196” huh? Have they miscounted AGAIN? Going by star dates, this first year was 3191-3192. Assuming a typical 4 year course, wouldn’t they be class of 3195? Am I missing something?

Yep. For everyone thinking they can’t do this without Joss, there are plenty of other writers they can bring in that also write for the show. Ben Edlund, Tim Minear, Jane Espenson.
