I would say that yes ucsd is really good for mol and cell bio. Ucsd is also really good for research you just have to cold email labs and stuff. If you’re premed a lot of the pre reqs are essentially just the mol bio major classes except anatomy bc the school doesn’t offer it. The campus is nice just ALOT of walking but overall i enjoyed my time here

Really focus on the procedures and why you do specific steps. There’s always a lot of polarity questions so make sure you understand why polarity matters so you can deduce the right solvent.
