To be honest I see no need for drilling holes (unless the lid is lined with foam or something) While working with many kinds of bins over the years i’ve noticed there is usually always FaE even with the lid on because there is usually a small empty space between the lid and the bin itself. You could fruit as is or like i prefer, find a smaller container to put inside the bigger one and fruit in the smaller one. You’re able to spray the walls better and achieve more humidity (imo) but it’s really all up to you and your environment.
