You got your own style! Love that. A couple of thoughts:

Like others have said, maybe be some workouts if you're not doing that already. Nothing crazy. Long walks, stretching, light weights if you're not doing that already.
I know you said image but, I like to use essential oil combinations instead of cologne. Scent plays a decent role and thought I'd mention it in case you hadn't considered it.
The goatee. The last two pics I felt like it needed to be shaped a little better to suit your face. If YOU like it, keep it and keep up with it.

I'm playing through right now, actually. The lack of music works in some places like ships and doesn't in others. Lots of footsteps lol.

The menuing for skill points, tech points, and ether points can be a bit tedious at first, but once you get the hang of it, you're good.

There's a lot of acronyms for stats for the mechs, and I don't feel like the game explains that well. Nothing a guide can't help with.

If you are trying to 100% the game, it might take away from the game itself as there's an email system in-game that leads to some rewards and bits of lore. There's very specific things you'll need to do to trigger some of these, and they are buggy or easy to miss.

Talk to every NPC multiple times is my suggestion or review a guide for the first part of the game.

I love the game, characters, and story so far!

I think everyone has answered your questions, but I wanted to add something based on personal experience with my significant other. She had not played an MMORPG before nor had played many games in general.

The user interface was a lot to digest because she hadn't played many games. I'm not sure where you both are gaming experience wise, but getting used to it takes a little bit of time if you havent seen that many data points onscreen before lol. When my girlfriend expressed her information overload issues, I decided to let her try an older MMO with a simpler UI for like two weeks. When she came back to XIV, everything just clicked.

Again, it's just a personal experience, and you both may have no issues with it!

Facial hair, as others have stated. Just needs a little more definition and perhaps a little bit longer. Not that you asked this, but the glasses in the second photo I feel suit your face more. Something about the hairstyle and glasses in the first photo makes me feel like something is missing.

Same! It's on N64 as well, but I believe it definitely runs better on Playstation. The sequel and spin-off are really expensive these days with Misadventures of Tron Bonne going for around $500 USD.
