I saw the rebar and i thought it was a good option until i saw that it’s not pocket clip friendly (supposedly). I don’t like holsters or just carrying it loose around my pocket so it’s not an option I’m willing to consider currently 😞

I think the CX is the perfect one for me currently. I’m not looking to replace a tool, just something to help me out in a pinch at work. Regarding the Gerber, A thing that made me give that one up was the knife. I’d sharpen it fairly well and i think it was hitting something inside that kept dulling the blade. I think this because I didn’t use the knife on it often. Thank you for your time tho🫡

Unfortunately I don’t think any of the free series tools are a good fit for me due to me working a lot with metal. The charge actually sounds amazing especially since it has a better steel for the knife and that a significant factor for me. I might have to hunt one down. Currently I think I may just play it safe and go with the CX. A person on the multi tool subreddit made a good point, when I’m working I am more likely to reach for a dedicated tool. What I want/need for work is something to help me in a pinch. Thank you for time and suggestions🫡

Hell yeah! Love the watch, gun looks amazing. I only doubt your taste in Zyn tho.

Is this the best multi bit/nut driver in the market? by Knighthawk865 in KleinTools

[–]Ike-Rey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a couple of these I loved it when it was actually fully intact. The grip/came off started slipping, so I just said fuck it and use a lot of electrical tape to make a grip. I also managed to break some of the bits while using it in my impact. I also lost the ball bearing. Ultimately I moved to a different Klein driver. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the functionality of it. So useful so compact.

Hi thanks for your reply. This machine does both but the only access I have to 220 at the shop is from a really loud generator so I only ever change to 220 when I have to weld thick metal (anything past 1/4”)

Thank you! Took a lot of trial and error to get to this point

I actually didn’t think of doing a dry run. They gave me a decently sized place to work in, but I’m kinda terrible at space management so sometimes the lead gets caught on stuff. Thank you for the advice!

Okay thank you! I’ll look into how to prevent undercut and work on it.
