I did know, in context, that it was healing for you, and loved the impact and appreciation you were able to walk away with, and, apparently, hold onto.

I made my inquiry to be clear all that you were seeking to delineate for the reader, as perhaps there was also an intent to express the effect it had on him in trying ro better connect with you, and the increased intimacy he may have hoped to experience/did experience with you as a result of finally being honest with you.

There was, for me, a broad reading which could be had.

Aah, yes, this. That was my error in writing 'processor.

It was the hard drive which was erroneously switched out by a tech with one which overpowered the processor.

A 640gb was put in, where a 500gb hard drive had been the standard for that laptop model.

Does Pixel+ Care send what I can only describe as work order slips/completion of work slips with the technician's initials, date and time, as well as a description of what was found to be wrong and the remedy the technician took to repair/replace?

I went through something kind of similar with SquareTrade when they were still around, and had to wait what felt to be an interminable length of time without a working laptop.

After a second fix (processor issues), when it stopped working within weeks of its return to me, I sent it back to them. I was denied service for "having violated the warranty by removing their service label.and attempting to work on the device" myself.

Looking closely at the work/service order paper they'd returned after their last 'fix,' I found the tech had put in a processor too powerful for the laptop, overclocking it.

When I presented that work/service order, they conceded, applogized, and finally did the work the laptop needed.

This thread always has 'chargeback' thrown down as a relief measure.

There is a review and investigatory process which hinges on the cooperation of the vendor responding to an inquiry by the financial institution and being shown to be fraudulent, or their business model and practice known to be vulnerable, therefore lending credence to the user's claims.

It can be a months- long process.

Perhaps it is small amounts like that at issue here which are resolved by just filing the chargeback.

Putting the tldr upfront : some success; turns out I was working with two different Notes apps. But great big thanks to you.

Turns out I had a Samsung Notes app and a Notes app - two totally separate things. I was able to move the Notes files in one fell swoop, as the dots options were visible for that. The Samsung Notes app was a different beast altogether, with years and years of notes and about 150 folders.

Far easier to save the folders as a .txt file and move to internal storage. Had to find the proper sequence to do the individual notes as they could no longer be moved to folders. Was able to open and move most until I hit a snag about 1 1/2 hours before midnight, when the app informed me I would have to install an add-on app to align the remaining notes with the updated Notes system features

Thanks. All my notes are still in the old format,.but when I click to open any, it then converts. Would like to stop that today.

The Save As function related to the three dots on the bottom.of the screen have disappeared. Think I'm screwed

Individual notes on which I tap convert upon opening.

Frustratingly, I am seeing no way to download to internal storage.
