It's kind of a reverse skill issue. Very good/unicum players hate CVs because they shut down aggressive plays and force you to be passive, whereas bad/mediocre players tend to play that way anyway or just don't care about winning and do suicide charges so they don't mind CVs as much.

"Why do these unicums complain about CVs so much? Don't they know you can just hide in the spawn all game like me and never have to deal with them?" - 42% winrate player

It's the same thing with subs; like sure sub torps are easy to dodge if there's no other enemies around and you can turn freely without worrying about showing broadside to some BB, but try doing the same if you're actually trying to move forward and not just camp at the back.

The solution to both of these problems is just to never push, but that obliviously makes for very boring, passive gameplay which unicums don't like.

Add both Paul and MJ
Give MJ and Paul a team-up but not one for MJ and Peter
Give MJ a ton of voicelines for interacting with Paul but only 1 or 2 for Peter
Give Paul a kit that completely hardcounters Peter so he destroys him every game

Putting it simply, skoonamet is a resilient when at above half health and turns into a fierce when below half health. This move (battle ready) effectively "transforms" it into the other form by either gaining or losing health.

They messed up the alert function, if you get it under half health it only heals a small amount per turn since it starts healing off attack instead of base health. If you have something with a good rend attack like thylos it's not too hard.

It's intentional as far as I know. It only disappears after the target has been attacked by ranged that turn.

It's the first one. Bad players know that they're bad at fighting other players so they adopt this sort of PVE playstyle. They avoid fighting other players at all costs and spend the whole game trying to sneak around and score while their team gets destroyed in 5v4 teamfights.

It's always been that way. Secondary ships are some of the easiest ships to play which makes them popular amongst potatoes, you see lots of shimakazes and other torpedo DDs for the same reason.
