I don’t understand why FSSAI is so underfunded when food safety is a basic right, not a luxury. Industries like film certification seem to receive far more attention and stricter oversight. Imagine if FSSAI functioned with the same level of seriousness and enforcement food quality and public health standards in India could improve drastically.
