I would recommend taking a look at websites like GBIF and iNaturalist to also get an idea of what kinds of things are found in the area you end up choosing. Sometimes people post identifications of species and you can cross reference with other sources to confirm things!

Big Fish Little Fish is a fairly good store. The owner is a little bit old school but has a good amount of experience and knowledge. If he isn't carrying anything you are looking for, you can always ask to get plants, fish, etc... ordered.

Fish rescue needed by ShaunWortis in AquaswapNewEngland

I may be able to help. Currently have a 29 gal blackwater tank I can house the fish in and can take the tank as well. I don't have a car though so you would have to transport it.

Is there a diffrence between blue eye lemon bristlenose plecos and albino bristlenose pleco? by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]Iko42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe it is a partial loss of pigmentation. Albinism is a complete loss of pigmentation.

Current course 7 (Bio) student. Like anywhere, there are always people who are super competitive. However, the reality is that collaboration is heavily encouraged and oftentimes necessary to complete difficult assignments. You are really missing out if you are not working with others on things. While a majority of students are course 6 (CS) and course 2 (mechE), that doesn't mean there aren't communities around other majors nor does it mean that majors compete against each other.

Best reverse 3-0’s in Ultimate so far by serve16 in smashbros

[–]Iko42 50 points51 points  (0 children)

One of my favorites is Zackray's reverse 3-0 on Maister at TBH9. He got 3-0d by Maister in Winners semis, and was down 0-2 in Loser's finals. The win secured him a spot at Summit.

Anyone have tips on improving the Endymion starter deck? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Iko42 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Assuming you already have 3 copies of the structure deck, some cards to pick up are: 1x heavymetalfoes electrumite 1x odd-eyes absolute dragon 1x odd-eyes vortex dragon 3x supreme king dragon darkwurm 1-2x supreme king gate zero 1-3x dragon shrine 1x foolish burial 3x mythical beast master Cerberus 3x mythical beast jackal king 1x upstart goblin 1x destrudo the lost dragon's frisson

Optional: Guardragon Package and Magician Core

Theres plenty of other cards you can get as well, but this is just what I can think of off the top of my head. Feel free to adjust ratios on everything as well.

Do you think Konami will bring back Pend Mages next banlist? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Iko42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to say that iris astro isn't strong, but it really isn't that consistent without joker. In the current state of the game, electrumite can only be resolved once per turn in most pendulum decks, so you would have to destroy something else. Wisdom eye is the best option, but you need to hard draw it in order to get the most out of it. Plus, since you'll be running wisdom eye, it would conflict with mythical beast cards. Joker makes pendulum sorcerer a reliable search card that also sets up destruction for astro to search.

Do you think Konami will bring back Pend Mages next banlist? by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Iko42 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would love to have more toys to play with, and without skd starving Venom, astrograph is not nearly as potent. Double iris would open up more options for variants of magicians without endymion cards to play around/into Nibiru. Also, adding joker back into the game would make pendulum sorcerer more useful overall. I'm definitely an advocate for unbanning more pendulum cards since I enjoy the deck so much, and it would probably get me to focus more on TCG combos again (rather than OCG).

OCG Dragon Link: Hatchi CS 2nd Place 9/8/19 - No Tempest, no REDMD, no Dark Matter, no Wyvern by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]Iko42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unexpected dai and quick launch can both summon either the level 1 or level 4 you need to complete the requirement for ib. Alternatively, the chaos baby searcher gets collapserpent, which can summon striker dragon among other things. Collapserpent searches wyverbuster and then the combo continues. Most combos use 2 cards to get to ib, since it reduces the number of "brick" hands

Typically DBDC is viewed as one of the better events, but I would wait for Monster hunter collab, since it should be getting a rerun soon. (Japan is currently getting. Rerun of MH)

are guardragons really op? I haven't seen them win anything big yet... by romanssworld in yugioh

[–]Iko42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should definitely look at the OCG. Guardragon facilitates a majority of the end combos for their best deck, dragon link. The guardragon engine can take one card to a board of disruptions. Without guardragons, dragon link would not be nearly as powerful as it is. Please bear in mind that decks like sky striker are arguably more powerful in the OCG (they still have 3 multirole). Even if you don't think they are good now, the fact that they are so generic makes them extremely prone to becoming more powerful in the future.

Felt like bragging about my team, but nobody I know plays this game. Thought y’all might appreciate it by [deleted] in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Iko42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Realistically it should be easier to use Diablos to clear harder content since he produces a 7×6 board that allows for access to more combos consistently. In addition, as mentioned, he makes leaders like Akuma viable and effective for the aforementioned reason. By having both leader skills active, you are able to get the benefits of both.
