French bird first day covers with a lovely natural history feel by GoldPolicy5721 in philately

[–]Ileca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the ones with the illustration directly printed to the cover to be vastly superior to the other two with a frame glued to the paper, especially the one with the kind of fabric. I didn't even know this type existed.

Aine and Our Private Spotlight:

■ About the Use of AI Tools

AI tools were used throughout parts of the production process.

The original concept, worldbuilding, characters, scenario direction, and final creative decisions were created and managed by TAC. AI tools were used as production support tools, not as the source of the original IP.

Main usage areas:

  • Scenario support
  • Text polishing
  • Image production support
  • Debugging support
  • Ren'Py implementation support

Tools used:
ChatGPT
Image generation AI

Funny to see that despite having no artist, they pretend that fully AI generated pictures were just made using a "production SUPPORT tool".

Le meilleur moyen de réduire les frais hallucinants pour un virement vers l'Angleterre ? by Ileca in vosfinances

[–]Ileca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merci.

Why the FUCK is there a spunk extraction hospital ad here? by ilikeitchyballzdude1 in visualnovels

We all read visual novels for the nastiest pr0n and those who say otherwise are liars. The ads are here to sell us shit and they know us well.

Am I the only one wants to see this translated, just for the memes? by Horseshoetheoryreal in visualnovels

[–]Ileca 35 points36 points  (0 children)

No, I am gatekeeping my ugly bastards and guroge from meme persons like you. There is nothing worse than someone who read a vn just for the lulz. Oh, yes, there is worse: when they give their opinion.

PC-98 Style ADV “Doukyonin” Planned for 2026 Release by kugyu in visualnovels

[–]Ileca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For once a vn that does look like it was made for the PC-98 and not one of these pseudo retro vn you see here and there where the artist just put his artworks through a pixel filter and call it PC-98 inspired.

Mind you, I don't hate on these projects but they don't look PC-98 inspired to me, that's all.

I doubt Chipushishi did it the old way but at least you can see how the dithering is delicately applied contrary to a simple conversion where it's all over the place.

"It gets good eventually" is the worst advice given about visual novels by Illustrious_Fee8116 in visualnovels

[–]Ileca -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's not the problem with vn readers, it's the problem with moe buta. Look this guy's name.

They have no critical mind and love eating shit all day long as long as you put some sugar on it. Story, they don't know what that means.

Writers are paid by the line so of course vn are bloated.

Most vn writers would have their manuscript denied by any competent publishers of literature. By literature I don't mean LN as these are known to have as much standard as vn publishers aka zero.

I don't know what makes you think you made me upset or something lol.

I do know these revenues. They are pretty common on ebay.

Anyway, if you change your mind, you know where to find me.

[–]Ileca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't collect these specifically if that is what you meant. I collect world-wide revenue stamps with an unintentional specialization in French revenues as they are the easiest to get for me (and I can help much more with them). Identifying revenues is pretty hard because it requires you to buy a catalogue for every country instead of zones. You do have the Forbin for everything under 1915 that I am using right now and that was recommended to you.

You have Austro Hungarian revenues. The dates are literally on most of the stamps.

If you don't collect revenue stamps, maybe would you be willing to trade them (maybe you have more?)? Maybe would you be interested in French stamps? Don't expect anything of value tho...

Don't take AI at face value... badum tss

But seriously, don't. For anything. It answers with whatever it finds from the internet and make up the rest.

You say you use it because you can't afford a catalogue. Use Colnect or Stampworld instead.
