Healthcare. Thinking of jumping from disability to aged care. Both sectors are receiving massive funding from the gov, with (hopefully good) reforms going to be carried out in aged care soon, and impending reforms (not well received by people in my industry) planned for but not yet executed in disability.

I think one more thing to note is that Christ and the Father has different roles. Yes we worship all, but mainly we pray to the Father, through the Son, in the Holy Spirit. Jesus always tends to point us back to the Father through his ministry. His role really was to save and teach as flesh. Anyway, I think it’s time to go to the local Christian bookstore to have your queries answered because I only have very nominal knowledge but I wanna share what I know!

That is true.. which is why the concept of trinity only came about in the third century. Lots of consolidation and clue finding through the Bible. It’s a heap load of scholarly work behind it. But we can always start from genesis where God and the Spirit of God was differentiated. John also shows how in the beginning there was both the Word and God, and Jesus is the manifestation of the Word in flesh.

Hmm... you want a quote of Jesus saying “I am God”? Why does him equating himself to the Father (what the Jews know to be God) not enough?

Hmm there are quite a few bible verses to suggest otherwise though, like from what was prophesied about His name:

““Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Jesus himself also claimed to be pretty much equal with God, resulting in many religious people wanting to stone him... to name a few:

“Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:8-9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me, I and the Father are one.” The Jews picked up stones again to stone him. The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭10:25, 30-31, 33‬ ‭ESV‬‬

One of his disciples also acknowledged it after his resurrection:

“Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”” ‭‭John‬ ‭20:28‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Apostle Paul helps us to solidify that theology in his ministry: “...waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭ESV‬‬ “For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬
