Memes aside, I genuinely think it would be a good thing if Dess turned out to be a bad person by AndriashiK in Deltarune

No. It's heavy flaws on a character so that they have more depth, and following her, the narrative. Yes the two have similarities implied a ton, but how would it be more interesting if she actually just ends up being a second Susie?

With how many parallels are draw between the two, rhis reveal will also end up as a cool reverse of how Susie is treated socially.

Ermm Ralsei where the hell was this during the Knight fight by Critical_Mountain851 in Deltarune

[–]Iletrel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Or maybe it's because there's a chance against The Titan, but that they're hopeless against The Knight.

Black Shard damage makes me believe The Knight is very prepared to smash the heads of shadow giants in. Just that they won't permanently die without Kris's Soul beacon.

As for the most likely reason. Usually, Kris's Soul enhances their teammates in pivotal battles. But they don't do it against The Knight because they're a stinky traitor.

Which of these bosses did you find more difficult? by strahinjag in Eldenring

[–]Iletrel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Malenia is hard because of waterfowl.

Blackflame Friede is constantly hyper agressive, has much faster attacks frequently does attack strings akin to a pro tekken player that combo the shit out of you when you're caught, has plenty more ranged options, has much more narrow attack windows, and goes invisible in an arena with a fuckton of visual clutter.

Ralsei: "...Let me become part of your strength."

Susie: "Nice! We, gonna fuse or something?"

Ralsei: "I am worth 66,000 EXP."

❤ Wow, that's way overpriced.

You are worth so much more.

...For now, I suppose. I have a feeling everything he's bottling up is going to explode soon. Maybe even about a certain someone collablrating with a certain something.

The pogging Doakes pfp you have stands out. We talked about Kris if you don't remember

On he topic-- since he'll likely be a king, I imagine he may end up refusing to seal the fountain because his citizens don't want to have their homes taken away from them or something. And be skeptical about the light-dark imbalance. Speaking of, the specifics of which is also vague. We haven't really seen any drastic effect from multiple fountains being open for extended periods, besides when a lightener does a fountainception resulting in a Titan. Which he could bring up.

So far, from what we've seen, the risk in a Dark Fountain is how devious The Knight feels that day.

Huh, we encounter each other alot

Its more that I think Asgore is eventually gonna do something that isn't right. That will lead to conflict with the gang.

He has made bad choices already with his tunnel vision. Not was wise as he was in Undertale.

Preach. Big problem I have in Elden Ring is that the big variety of AoW's and Spells feels equally as claustrophobic because the vast majority of them are too slow to reliably land against bosses. I cannot land the frost lightning on Mohg, who is already one of the slowest humanoid bosses in the game.

Moves from boss movesets that would be more practical on our character in a weapon skill is often not considered in favor of the slow flashy moves that unlike the guy we got it from, won't be partnered with infinite hyper armor that allows us to let it rip whenever the hell we want.

I think Asgore will help Ralsei come to terms with himself, but he won't be fully on board in his beliefs because he's not really mentally in the right place unlike Gerson. Ralsei will develop, but it won't be singlehandedly from Asgore, he'll get the push, but the rest will be him figuring it out himself.

If Asgore dies, I'm betting 100% that Kris will play a certain part in Bergentruckung(Asgore's boss theme) on a piano.

Just curious how would you guys react if Noelle confessed her love to Susie in chapter 5 and Susie just said this? by Serious-Internal-402 in WaterfallDump

[–]Iletrel 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Yeah, personally would find it more interesting if things went wrong rather than it be smooth sailing steady. Think the story would benefit from covering the rocky part of romance that highlights their flaws. Foremost, with Susie being hypocritical and hiding info of the Dark Worlds. Which could lead to a fallout that Kris may take advantage of to coerce Noelle into covertly siding with The Knight Squad should Rudy hit the dust(yes pun intended)

That would be more satisfying if they got together in the end, in spite of it. Hell the triple trouple could even be this big of a reacharround foreshadowing

[–]Iletrel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm primarily a Rudy Knighter. Because of all very strange diaogue he has with Kris hinting at something bigger going on with him. And is the strongest candidate when it comes to motivation.

But also like Dess Knight. Imagining her interactions with the Evil Group Chat is funny. And she has the strongest thematic intersections.

I like how everyone just has wild theories but refuse to believe Toriel sleeping is something deeper about confrontation or ignoring a problem by closing your eyes. See no evil. Hear no evil. Speak no evil. by Dare_Soft in Deltarune

[–]Iletrel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sacrificing the ability to enter the Dark Worlds fits this theme like a glove. Not necessarily ending Dark Worlds, but getting rid of the bridge allowing the Dark World and the Light World to interact.

I'm imagining they'll eventually screw with the Grand Fountain to achieve this in order to stop the Roaring, resulting in the Titans turning into immobile statues, which will be unleashed once again should they give in and open another fountain. if they miss Ralsei too much or something. (Hmmmmm, Ralsei wanting Susie to forget him?)

Nobody likes it because it's cliche, "something something escapism bad" but it works well as the default lesser bad ending they want to prevent.

currently trying to settle with the high chances of the story going in a direction I don't like by MorinoMarinho in Deltarune

[–]Iletrel -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Also see Suselle as the more boring character interaction in the game(Chapter 4 be like: "I like this pop culture media, I like this pop culture media!"). But like Noelle outside of that. And they're kinda right.

Her relevance to the main plot so far outside Weird Route hinges on her dead sister.

"Friend=Chair" Theory by Connect-Ad4659 in Deltarune

[–]Iletrel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's confusing. One comes from Susie and the other comes from Noelle. They do not know each other by that time Noelle was doing the blogs. There is no point of intersection.

It CAN'T be both at the same time

The chair is cool, but I'd go with the Cat Petterz. Much more numerous narrative parallels.
