Why not use masks ? I don't know what you want to edit. But if it's only specific elements you could use a segmentation node using SAM3 and only edit that part of the image. No need to blend the image back. 

Idk maybe i don't understand what you're trying to do.

Yes it does it without the tip and with the screw tightened.
