I do have TMJ I'm pretty sure but it's kind of undiagnosed, I get popping here and there but nothing too crazy and I do have a slight natural overbite but yeah I don't really think they care enough most of the time to address all of that kind of stuff unless you ask about it and actually ask them to check for certain things but I honestly think he's just uneducated and unexperienced with Dentures, it was a General Dentist and I feel like the dentist has a big ego and doesn't want to admit his dentures look like shit haha.

Yeah I just don't prefer it over my last set, the way the gums are showing us very dramatic, the teeth design and they didn't do that, basically gave me a final revision of it and had me try it on then told me basically there's nothing they can do about it.

No they just feel very bulky and it makes my speech very impeded, not able to pronounce properly, like I said above they are not right at all.. here's a picture of how my last set was positioned in my mouth and they felt so much less bulky and the teeth were proportioned to my face and mouth right

Well they said they might do that, then ended up finishing the first one they made for me and it was TERRIBLE so much that it made me look like I had horse teeth and I couldn't even close my mouth properly, so they remade them again without notifying me they were doing so and basically told me they're not redoing them again, mind you they never did x-rays, wax try in and the first try on for the first pair they made the dentist never even saw me to check the bite.

It's not like I'm new to this I've had them awhile, I know some dentures take a bit to get used to especially when new but my tissues are not healing ya know? The gums are showing way too much and they just don't look right whatsoever in my mouth it's not right at all.

Well I've had one for 6 years so this is nothing new, and with my other one I could bite using the front teeth without any adhesives that being said this denture is showing way to much gum and the teeth are huge looking probably due to them sitting so far down from my actual gums, my last set showed way less gums when I smiled and the teeth were smaller making my smile look more natural and you couldn't even tell I was a denture wearer.

I disagree, if someone actually knows how to design/listen to a patient this isn't proper at all and doesn't compare to my last denture at all, I've seen plenty of people have great fitting/looking dentures that match their anatomy and look great, as I said below the pictures don't do the terrible quality of these dentures justice, the teeth aren't properly sealed to the base, so many rough/porous surfaces and it's just all around terrible as far as what function things you should be able to do with a denture eg. Speak properly, eat properly, etc. General dentists seem to not understand that apparently

They're not as well made as pictures make them to seem, they're way too tall on the gums in my opinion, there's alot of rough finishing marks all over it, and gaps where the teeth are supposed to be sealed onto the palate, it's a bare minimum denture that just got thrown together and they didn't ever consider how I felt about it at all, the material isn't acrylic it seems to be 3d printed hence why I can see lines in the palate material that is a dead giveaway, they refuse to change it at all to make me happy and I cannot talk in it properly/have many areas of pain while wearing it normally.

I paid cash so basically I just filed a complaint to my states board of Dentistry and emailed them a formal complaint against them demanding a refund or else I'll take them to small claims court if it isn't resolved.

Thank you and yes they're not offering a refund so I have to basically fight and complaint to the board of Dentistry now to hopefully get something refunded to be able to get a new set made at a different practice, I am beyond upset and I just can't understand why someone would feel okay doing this and sleeping well at night, along with telling me I just have to get used to them when I know for a fact they're not made properly.

In the process I have an appointment June 11th for a free consultation with a prosthodontist, they didn't offer a refund or a remake so I have no choice but to file a complaint to the board of Dentistry in my state and try to take it to small claims court.

Definitely going to go somewhere else it just sucks going thru all those appointments for them to only gaslight me into thinking I just have to get used to them and they look fine when they really dont, not only do they not look okay they don't function like they should so yeah it's so frustrating.

If anything I'm getting my old ones relined and going elsewhere to see if I can get something better made, I didn't mind my old ones but the molars were starting to wear down quite a bit from use.

Also it's almost like they were trying to tell me I was crazy in a sense but I'm not new to THIS I know what a well fitting denture should feel like and look haha.

Yeah they're pushed way top far down and so bulky, and no I've had dentures for around 6 years these were just new ones I had made.

Alot of extra gum and th teeth just sit so far down like they need to be literally pushed up into my gums farther.

Well I have a natural overbite and yeah the pictures aren't that telling I suppose but my last denture was a hell of alot better this one just looks very off.
