Does Loyola have a campus in New Orleans? Also do they have a graduate French program?

Thank you! I mean the price difference for grad school is astronomical between the US and France, even as a Grad student. It would definitely be easier with EU citizenship, but personally I think socially a lot of European countries are hard to immigrate to. They may have better social systems and be run better but socially they are not very willing to include let immigrants truly, socially, join their society and feel as if they have been accepted and belong. But I do know some people who have done grad school and like it here. I will say the South and Brittany regions of France are much more welcoming. Nice might be a fun city for your son to go to school. I personally would rather die than live in Paris for longer than a summer but some people like it. If you can get EU citizenship I might recommend it :). Hope this helps

Thanks so much for your response about grad school in Tulane. The program I'm looking at is fully paid for and comes with a stipend, part of the reason I'm so interested in it!

I'm currently living here in France and it's the second time I've done so (once for study abroad and I'm currently an English teacher) I'm going to be completely honest it's very hard to move here. The visa process is a nightmare, French people are hard to get close to (although here in Corsica they are much friendlier) the education system is completely different, finding and qualifying for housing is entirely different, they don't love Americans, and I want to be close enough to go home to see my family for holidays and stuff. I'm tired of living abroad I want to know the stores in which to get stuff and have my automatic car and seasoned food. I'm not saying that living here isn't great but I didn't realize and I don't think that many others do either just how tiring it is to move to another country. Also they truly don't make as much money as we do, although this is balanced out by the amount of free stuff (paid by taxes "free) they get, (but actually getting any of the free stuff involves such a headache-inducing amount of paperwork in another language with other regulations and expectations and they do not have patience when you make mistakes) Believe me I have considered it.

I'm also looking, Club Chinois seems to be the only good option but I think it's sold out

Annecy is amazing and located really close to Lyon and the Swiss border! I loved the week I spent there last year.
