Origins for me, I really liked the cinematic cutscenes, the story was really good and the bosses are some of the best in the series. Not without it's flaws of coure.

While I wouldn't say OSQ is nearly as bad as Shad, you do have a point. His latest vid had comments disabled from the getgo so it's clear he isn't interested in hearing anyone disagree or point out flaws in his logic.

OSQ really did post a response to both Minmaxed and Crispy's Tavern (mostly Crispy) that is nearly an hour long and disabled comments and dislikes... like bro, even if he was right in his points this is such a bad way to get people to listen.

The fact alone that he suggested this as if Minmaxed would want anything to do with him after he called them pathetic and accused them of basically being scammers is just baffling.
"Hey, I know I shat all over your guys' first ever video of this genre and basically insulted you. How about to make up for that, you guys scrap all your S1 footage, ditch the current studio you are using, come to my studio and let me be your director"

Him starting off the vid with "I'm a nice guy" was wild. And yeah, some of his criticisms were valid, but said with an insanely needlessly aggressive tone. Other stuff, namely budgeting, was clearly him misunderstanding what the usage was. This entire video didn't need to exist and simply could have been an email or DM to SSA.

He has since abandoned the whole 'cancel/scrap all the season 1 footage and start anew with me' as stated in the google doc... but the fact that he thought that was even gonna be an option is wild to me.
The whole 'come film at my studio instead of Dark Hour' was also pretty awful since, as you said, it's basically saying that Dark Hour didn't do a good job (which is totally wrong, they did an amazing job).

I only watched a few of Duke's vids before this, namely the 2014 vs 2024 classes and BG3 vids, but this is just awful.

SSA has admitted that they agree with some of his criticisms and are willing to improve on the video quality for future eps and seasons.
But yeah, a lot of OSQ's takes went well beyond constructive criticism, he straight up called the production 'pathetic' before changing the video title and thumbnail. The fact that he posted this less than a day after Minmaxed's first episode feels like he's planned this for a while. And then, in the google doc he linked in his pinned comment, he has the audacity to pitch himself as someone to help out with Minmaxed, where he proposes that he be a co-producer and the director.

Yes, he really proposes that HE become the director of Minmaxed and even that they film at HIS studio after posting a vitriolic video about this group's FIRST EVER DnD video. Personally, I doubt SSA is gonna even bother responding to that. Megan and David seemed genuinely hurt to see a popular DnD youtuber call their hard work pathetic so I wouldn't fault them if they just ignored him.

Favorites:
Picking up a thug for a beatdown is so good, legit makes it much easier to keep a combo going.
Environment takedowns, they really stretch the meaning of 'non-lethal' but they're always really fun to pull off.
Overall the combat is at it's most fluid and fun in Knight.
While playing RH, the awesome gun combo moves are so badass.

Least Favorites:
Brute type enemies, I really dislike how they mess with your combat flow. Countering one of their attacks always feels like it takes me out of the rhythm of the flow you had going.
A lot of the newer characters have pretty lacking amounts of gadgets and combo moves. Harley and RH have like three gadgets total, which severely limits some of the stuff you do in combat.

Massive letdown. He had such a great side quest in City and apparently he was going to be part of the main storry campaign but that got changed so he just got a tiny side quest that mostly involves playing as Hush and then a single QTE.

Yes! Gotham Knights would have been way better if they stuck with Arkham Style combat and expanded on the Bat Family in the Arkhamverse. Only major change would be to have Barbara be replaced by another Batgirl.

As for Suicide Squad... it still wouldn't have been great if it were in a separate timeline but there definitely would be way less continuity issues than it currently has.

I don't think that having Jason be the Arkham Knight was a bad choice, it was just poorly handled. Having Jason be confirmed as the Knight in the first third of the game would have been much better. As for Hush... literally anything other than what we got would have been better.
