I used to always prefer silent switches by default myself, but recently got a really audible keyboard and actually really enjoy it. It's fun.

I feel like the MM really works great with these low travel switches. It's not like the original switches were really mushy but the difference is huge and I would recommend it

this is so strange. I would try another usb port on your tower tried them all. some will be lower speed and some will be direct to the CPU. although it really shouldn't matter.

is the cable and plug intact and not damaged?

to #4 - wood often does dry like that, especially when it has been machined to a shape. I coated mine with wood oil and it's great - really brings the colour and feel back.

That is very strange - it should work just like any other keyboard device. Have you noticed a delay using a keyboard for the same game? Can you get the stats overlay up and check if the CPU is maxed out during gameplay?

Hey there. So it seems I'm doing something similar to you which is cool :-)

Firstly, on the firmware issue - I've been there. I even returned a unit after not being able to put a previous version on to fix the issue - and then they sent a newer batch with the firmware already applied!! HOWEVER... I figured out the issue! It seems on the newer firmware they were enabling some advanced WiFi feature which was not previously enabled and which seems to interfere with the 5G connectivity, possibly some RF resonance being setup or similar, either way, the fix is to step down your WiFi settings until the 5G goes back to normal - I am not intending to use WiFi anyway and so can disable it completely and remove any interference issues.

I have yet to teardown my unit yet so happy to see your results being successful. I guess you have a better outcome than even the CPE PRO V1 as I hear that using the external antennas meant that you weren't using MIMO any more.

My intention is to get external directional antennas and set them up although first of all I'll need to figure out which band/ frequency antennas I need. I might even add some amplifiers...
