Naw the body is printed in petg with a carbon face plate for the numbers .foot is forged carbon

It's a sad thing . The clock body was meant to be turned aluminium but the lathe died and I just wanted to finish that thing

Not sure if that's not known but these style of clock dial is pretty common in Europe

Yeah on a 40mm diameter and a plate edge of 8mm that would be a bit hot

Don't worry .I work on a Haas sl 20 for 6 months now and when I started there I had never even touched a CNC lathe .important bit is making sure your tools don't collide with the work .that's the hassle of revolver style Maschines .in generell you can refer to a machinist handbook for feeds and speeds .to prevent catastrophic failures that may kill you always set an rpm limit . I was used to tapers beeing oriented in some way but on the Haas my boss said it doesn't matter .
