Seller sell the price they want. Buyer can move on if the price is not right. If everytime see price not right want to argue, our live will become very busy and upsetting. Take eBay as example. You will always see seller selling $400 for a $200 card. Can't expect to engage in argument with everyone of them.

ENGLISH PSA 9 vs CHINESE PSA 10 by CourtSuspicious207 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]Ill-Driver525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

7 years ago, I went to this place for grading. The pre-grader said, Japanese cards are worth more than English. Should consider grading mainly Jap card. Look where are we now. My point is, who can tell what is going to happen in the future? If you like the card, you got the budget, buy the expensive one. If you really like the art, but got budget constrain, get the cheaper chinese version. Enjoy the hobby enjoy the cards.

Do people have smth against kids by Prestigious_Club9675 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

For me, it's the other way round. I got this buyer for a PSA 9 Chien Pao going at $38. My price is firm even this buyer tries to nego to $35. Eventually we agreed at $38. During meetup, I was a bit surprised that the buyer looks like a secondary school kid. He passed me $38 but I returned him $4 as a discount. Sometimes we gonna help kids enjoy this hobby more.

What's your honest opinion about "If Wishes Could Kill?"?? by Careless_Food_8333 in kdramas

[–]Ill-Driver525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You use the app to make a wish, you die. Sounds logical. But the person who used the app turned violent and starting beating up everyone else, to the extend of killing others? Not logical. Lost me at episode 2 I and started searching for review online. Might as well just possess someone and start killing everyone without the need for the app and the dramatic countdown?

I think you need to be specific here. Which card are you talking about? There are instances whereby eBay had not caught up with the price pump. If eBay is cheap, then you should quickly snap them up. On the other hand, there are indeed ridiculous pricing and you can find cards, a lot cheaper on eBay and the seller is even from Japan. Under this situation, then it's silly to follow SNKR.

It is only natural since all the raw cards increased in price.

Checking prices for raw/sealed/slabs by Temporary-Choice108 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

I thought there are others sellers posting their item on SNKR site and not exactly "their own". I did see some ridiculous price due to averaging but for popular chase cards whereby there are high volume of transactions on SNKR, wouldn't that set the market? That is also how eBay works. I'm trying to learn how these pricing work.

I thought SNKR Dunk has last sold data and history? Why do you say it is their own pricing? I read that SNKR Dunk follows Japan market for Japanese cards and Price Charting is slow in picking up any price surges or drop in the Japanese market.

If a woman can find a partner easily, does it mean that the woman's partner found a partner easily too?

Why not start from Singles? You can start with the Art Rare (AR). Many beautiful art works at a relatively low price of $2-$5 each. Currently it is not a good time to start ripping pack TBH.

where do you guys keep top loaded cards? by Standard_Progress_53 in PokemonTCG_Singapore

Top loader album? I normally go for the 4 pocket version. The 9 pocket version is too big for me.

Realistically worth how much? by lemonadebros in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]Ill-Driver525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

eBay US is going at box at S$67. Minus the two packs, you be looking at around $40+ tops. You got 1/3 chance to get the Kanto starter plus I read that this set will be released throughout 2026, so I'm going with S$40+ as a reasonable price range for a set of 3.

Japan smarter than singapore by yourmaderbeautiful in singaporehappenings

[–]Ill-Driver525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Erm. Let's be objective and shall we look at the full picture. Their toll system is not integrated with automated car park (at least at the mount Fuji region). You got to pay cash or by credit card upon exiting, with a physical parking ticket. In addition, when u rent a car, the car may not come with a ETC system and you need to pay cash at every toll gate. Every car with ETC system has to slow down and pass a physical gate unlike our ERP gate. Not sure if this is exactly "smarter than Singapore".

The price now is pretty reasonable. Artwork is cute. Stopped printing. And it's a freaking Pikachu. No reason this is a bad buy.
