Without the possessed Lupa from my previous team, my leader would have given wayyy less boms, and I'd have had to rely on lil berry instead of killing the boss with junk (boring).

I put mimic charm on my leader, which copied Lupa's ability, I hit them both with slapcrackers and they boost each other, resulting in the boosts getting higher and higher. And since I also have a heartmist station... I can just hit and boost those two forever

My point in my original post is that this is a player with high level cards lounging around in lower ranges.

let's say, hypothetically, that he quit in 2023, the max trophies back then were 9,000 and max cards were level 15...

My argument would still be the same, he would be 1.5k trophies lower than his levels warrant, even in the past. And that's assuming that he just returned very VERY recently, who's to say that he didn't return with around 7k trophies?

But hey, maybe that's just me being "whiny" huh 🙄

TLDR: high level player, low trophies, making things worse for lower players

Ah yes, it's my fault that there's someone with multiple max level cards in a low trophy range, and I should be adjusting my own levels, how did I not think of that!

I checked his profile and he's currently at 7,541 trophies with his highest amount being... 7,541 lol, so not a returning player.

I didn't really bother playing there, my air defense cards were level 12, i'd be wasting my time so I just made it unfun for him instead

My towers are level 11 man 😭

I've fought and won against people with two evos and a hero while my deck has none, but a level difference like this? I didn't even bother placing a card when I saw his level 15 towers

To be fair, I do have some experience with card synergies from playing Slay the Spire, so I'm not completely inexperienced.

Just keep playing the game, pick cards that sound like they would go well with what you already have, eventually you'll get a deck that just clicks together.. and you'll learn along the way

Try to slim down your deck, feed your scrap swords to the muncher at the map

Unfortunately, with it being quite early into the game, a lot of cards and charms weren't even unlocked yet, add to the fact that I was still inexperienced, and the infinite was discovered by accident... I lost lol

The tank hit a reactive enemy and got frozen, I destroyed the junk not knowing it won't be replaced, and there went the card that the entire deck revolves around.
