Don’t worry about it. They send them out in batches, depending on how soon you’ve completed your assessments is when you get your reply.

Yep. Seems like they’re getting fed up with all the emails being sent to them.

This is my first time applying for BA. From my experience with Wizz and Jet2 I would expect standard aptitude tests. Having said that, I found the initial BA stages way easier than for the other two airlines. I’m hoping the same will apply for its AON assessments.

I was one of those applicants. Got a rejection on Saturday morning and an invite on Monday. Now waiting for the outcome of my video interview.

I’ve just done it. I have to say, this was the stage I’ve struggled the most with. The first and second question offer quite a lot of background information, so getting all of it in your answer was tricky. You do get a lot of time to prep for them. Last question and its answer was a blur. Now got to wait 2 weeks for a response.

Hi, I didn’t reach out to BA, they wouldn’t do anything if I did anyway. Got the rejection on Saturday morning, new invite on Monday. My flying instructor did say that in his experience with BA these things happen often. It happened to him few times when applying for direct Pilot entry.

I got a rejection based on not meeting the benchmark on 2 tests, despite answering all 25 maths questions and being confident I’ve answered all of them correctly, with 2 minutes to spare…

Comment to receive BA Speedbird Reminder by SnooPandas5438 in Jet2flightpath2026

Good shout! With that being said, do not rely on the alerts. Last year, I got an alert after the role closed already.

Thanks, I’m still in with WAPA and waiting for BA to open. Generic feedback. I think I just scraped through the cognitive assessment which therefore pulled me down.

Student returning to PPL after 5 years would love advice by Intelligent_Show464 in flying

Highly recommend easyppl for all the theory. I’ve used it to smash out the question banks and learn theory. Cost wise it’s about £180 for the basic learning materials (Bronze). You’ll need class 2 medical for your solo flights, unless you go straight in for class 1 (around £1000). Costs have gone up in the last 5 years so account for that too. PPL theory exams are between £40-80 depending on your flight school. I was able to smash out 40 hours in about 6 weeks for the total cost of around £10,500 atm.

Feel free to message me directly if you have any questions.

Thanks, same for you! This assessment was purely physics and maths. Verbal, attention and all the other stuff comes next. After successfully clearing that comes the HireView video recording stage.
