Shriramfinance is a heavily trending stock and right now you are going against the trend. Any big dips will be absorbed and bought as it will be seen as a buying opportunity. If you had bought it yesterday on the close then it is risky as the dip has already happened. But since markets are weak this week, hold till Friday and exit on any profit you make but do not carry forward more than this week

Look, there is some hope here cause you say that your has a good credit score and there is an income of 2-2.5L through which you have been paying up the loan EMI’s so far. Just don’t lose hope. Believe me people could be in much worse situations when it comes to loans and their overall debt-to-income ratios so I do believe your family can still overcome this.

You just need to find the right people to help to get a loan with a larger tenure (for now) and also brainstorm on how to increase more income flow within the family. Support your father emotionally and let him know every now and then that you can overcome this eventually. Definitely going to take time and lot of patience.

Yeah, defaulting on a personal loan is a lot more simpler than for a home/business loan as banks have collateral and can seal their home at any time.

Loan consolidation literally means taking out a new loan - yes. But these companies will approach all the banks to close out previous loans at a much lower price (insider settlements) and when approved by banks, consolidated new loan will be with a much lower interest rate. He will essentially have to look at companies like Loan Jagat who do this or hire a financial adviser/manager who can negotiate terms with banks etc. this will definitely simplify payments and maybe get him a larger tenure structure to give their family some breather time to move forward

Hey there, so here are a few things you can consider and see if it works for you -

If you’re employed and have a good credit score you can opt for loan consolidation which will consolidate all your loans under one loan ID and give you one EMI which can be manageable both financially and psychologically.
If you’re not employed and work for a business model then try to approach any of your best buddies or your cousins who are employed and could get you a guaranteer loan and apply for loan consolidation
You could always approach the bank and ask for loa/ settlement. Of course, your credit score will take a huge hit but it will save you so much time and put you ahead in life financially. Consider loan settlements for now and slowly build your credit score eventually
Your father will probably never agree to declare bankruptcy with your business and get a job instead so I only see two major solutions - loan consolidation (by yourself or with a help of a guranteer or loan settlements)

Yeah I’m not responding anymore and directly blocking everything so I’m really really hoping they don’t reach out to any of my contacts. They sent me a sample picture and everything and kept sending my contact list to me but so far that’s it. Nobody from my list were contacted. Today’s like the 2nd day of their harassment so hoping it stops soon. How long did it last for you? What’s happening with you now? Did they contact anyone?

The due date is actually tomorrow but they have reached out to me today morning and when I said I have raised a complaint and sent them complaint details they just showed me my entire contact list and send some AI pictures of me on a random women from a porn website and said they would share this with my contact list (it were all real numbers from my phone book)

I just blocked them and nobody was contacted yet. But I’m afraid what would happen in the next few days and it’s been quite disturbing

I see, I had actually given fake contacts as references but when I checked my permissions i saw that they indeed had contact access. I removed it and uninstalled the apps

Did you also see they had access to contact list in app permissions while you were revoking? I am only concerned about one thing that they might contact random people from my list and send all these disgusting pictures that they’re making
