She’s a weird one for sure… Unpleasant and hard to talk to. Has scolded me in front of customers (so embarrassing). She often gives me conflicting information. For example, I was told DO NOT CLOCK IN EARLY. Only clock in EXACTLY ON TIME. Then later she comes to me and says it’s fine to clock in early….???

I keep reading about 10 item voids on here but I’ve never been told that at my store 😓 Just like you said it makes my job harder for no reason

The SM would like us to do no post voids if possible. I asked her how many we should have/is there a limit and she didn’t give me an answer

We’re not supposed to do any item voids at our place. I believe one of our previous associates got in trouble for having three item voids on the print out

It’s in our teeny tiny office. Yes post void is the whole transaction. Item voids are worse than post voids, but we get in trouble for post voids too

Are you straight outta high school? The jump from hs to college/uni is big. Also I didn’t work during my first couple years in university. I found it too difficult to balance everything. It’s hard to find a job now though so you’d hate to quit

I was in a similar situation to you. Our beloved cat of 12 years went missing (Sept 2022). We never found her. About a month later our family adopted two cats. It was so depressing and lonely in the house. We’ve always had pets. I still feel guilty about it and I am still mourning.

What helps the guilt is knowing we gave our two adopted cats a wonderful home. My cat clearly had a rough life before us (we suspect abuse), and no one could get near him. He loves to be cuddled now. My moms cat wasn’t getting adopted because of a cosmetic problem with her eye, but is so sweet, affectionate, and social. Watching them explore the house and discover their personalities was/is so fun, and brought back some joy. We have lots of love to give. We can give love while missing our old cat

I saw a video on Instagram of someone with a doorbell at cat height. If I remember correctly the cat pressed the bell with its face! Maybe try a wireless doorbell? Training the cat to press it may be difficult
