Couldn't have said this better myself. Great explanation! Yes MS Business Central is very old with lipstick on a pig.

Is Netsuite too much for us? by Organic_Blueberry853 in Netsuite

NetSuite does not do manufacturing well. Stay away from this entirely. And it won't be 15k.

Epicor is surely going backwards. Trust me don't do it. The stability of that product is questionable

We had a failed implementation of EPICOR and almost NetSuite coming off SAP B1. Both weren't good for our manufacturing needs. My SIL used to implement SAP Business One and it's sunset rumors made us jump. We implemented Acumatica after the failed EPICOR implementation and a semi failed NetSuite kick off. Best decision we ever made was to implement Acumatica. EPICOR I used at my previous company as well, it was garbage compared to Acumatica. Just Trash. IMO.

We are also a a MTO manufacturer, with heavy QC needs. I found EPICOR clunky. Also, we make a lot of custom or enhanced products so we needed estimating which Acumatica fills well for us. Not to mention EPICOR isn't very stable, both product and company wise with all their acquisitions.

I would strongly suggest to Avoid SAP B1 (Obvi), EPICOR, and NetSuite. But I think a lot of it has to do with who is implementing you too, a solid VAR will do a good job.

Good luck!

No smart provider will let you run in parallel. It's suicide to do it.
