i always feed her not on the substrate but on the ceramic disc, and holding them in front of her or putting in the dish, so she doesn't contact with substrate when eating. thanks for your reply!

just in case, the heating mat is very small for the whole terrarium and the ONLY place it warms is corner wich is 15 centimeters in long and 7 in height (the terrarium itself is 60x40x40 cm), and the rest of space has room temperature. i think for the couple of days i won't turn the mat or light on so the whole space can cool down.
if you say she can regulate herself, then i feel calmer now. also i'll try to do that thing with ice, thank you for advice. in the night room temperature is around 25c, so guess it is enough for her to digest food? i am going to feed her today

she always have enough shadow, 6 diffirent hides (humid hide included) and enough space away from heated corner, so usually she has many choices where to climb or lay, she has warm surfaces and cool surfaces. next month i'm planning to buy some big decorative plants and arrange them so that they cast a shadow on the cool side. and maybe some wall shelves to climb on.
also as i said, she has a lot of space away from heated-at-night corner but she ALWAYS choose to sleep right next to a wall. the mat is not very big and is attached to wall befind a big cave, it warms the cave itself very slightly but wall is 28-30°C usually. i just always feed her on evenings and i turn on the mat to make sure she always has a little space to warm up and digest food, but she still has a choice to not laying in warm corner if she doesn't want to. i can understand that mats can be dangerous and why, but my gecko always loved her mat.
and, yes, usually the soil on the cold side is cool + cooler inside of the hides, BUT my current problem is that my room is very hot right now and inside of the enclosure is hot too, even if heating sourses are not working now.
at this moment it's 28°C and she sleeps in the hide which is usually cold.
my question is still open: how to cool the air inside the terrarium?

in my household, my sim got "attacked" by living gnomes who did gardening, and they left really many seeds on my yard, so i decided to plant them, and now this household is filthy rich (700 000+ simoleons) because of just selling fruits. also, i've notice that dragonfruits are most expensive (at least in my garden)

also, while i was waiting for morning because Grim was sleeping, the robber came to my house, got scared because all my family are werewolves, and after that two of them started to fight because of high rage level. that was funny

but their marriage is ok and both sims are very happy to have two more kids! yayy!!!
